The houseboat is furnished with a comfortable king sized bed, The bathroom is modern and features a sink, shower and toilet. There is also a small terrace at the entrance of the apartment, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day with a glass of wine and enjoying the view.

This apartment is located in the Jordaan, a charming district located on the edge of the Old Amsterdam centre. The district was primarily a residential area for the working class but today it is filled with charming cafes, boutique clothing stores, cool bars and exciting restaurants. After a few hours exploring the area, why not relax at one of the many cafes and enjoy a slice of traditional Dutch apple cake. Cafe Papeneiland has some of the best in the city, although the café seats only about 20 people so make sure you get there early for a seat and slice of cake before it’s all gone. On the nearby Herengracht you’ll find a bar selling only Dutch beers, a great place for beer lovers to sample some of the local product. Just outside the Jordaan and within walking distance of the apartment is the Anne Frank House, Dam square with the must see Royal Palace and the Nine Streets shopping district rich with cafes and boutiques. The apartment is also just a short walk from Westerpark, a classic Victorian style park popular with locals and tourists alike. This apartment is in the ideal location for those after a charming local neighbourhood feel, close to the heart of Amsterdam. Public transport makes it possible to get out and explore the rest of the city with ease.
