1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. A single ticket to Amsterdam Central Station will cost you €3,90 and the journey will take around 23 minutes. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't need to take the tram as the hotel is within a few minutes walking distance from the station. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

The hotel's location is excellent being a couple of blocks walk to the central train station in downtown amsterdam. the room was clean (small), offers air conditioning, and free wireless.
You have to be prepared for a very small room. it is very basic, but tiny. everything did work and it was clean. free wireless.

The first room we were given had not been cleaned.
