The Best Western Blue Tower hotel is located at the edge of the centre of Amsterdam in Bos en Lommer, next to the exit S104 of the highway A10.
How to reach the Best Western Blue Tower Hotel?From Schiphol Airport: You can take a train to 'Sloterdijk' train station. From there you take bus number 15 or 82 direction 'Amsterdam'. Get off at bus stop 'Bos en Lommerplein'. The hotel is situated in the high blue building at the back of the square. For further instructions please see *.

From Amsterdam Central Station: Take bus number 21 direction 'Geuzenveld'. Get off at busstop 'Bos en Lommerplein'. The hotel is situated in the high blue building at the back of the square. For further instructions please see *.

*When you get off the bus you cross the street in the direction of a square that is situated between high buildings. This is 'Bos en Lommerplein'. Walk to this square and in the sky line you’ll see a high blue building which is the Best Western Blue Tower Hotel. You will need to cross the square (There might be a market on the square, in this case follow the clear path right in the middle of the stands.) When you cross this square you will see a passage with a large green sign above the entry. Go through this passage and turn right behind the bars. You’ll find the entrance of the hotel at your right hand side.

Not much to be honest. we are in the process of writing a letter of complaint to you. the only thing i can say is the breakfast was good and the room was clean sort off apart from the shower.
Quite alot. it is miles out from everywhere that tourists go. it seems the location is the worst area of amsterdam. there was no bar during the day, when you go on a holiday you like a drink and relax. this is the first hotel i have stayed at that i am unable to get a drink and a snack during the day. i have stayed at alot of hotels. not to mention the staff. well i will be writing a large letter of complaint. i would not recommened staying there.Redford

The rooms were spacious and clean and housekeeping would deliver towels every day. there is a grocery store across the street from the hotel as well as a bagel and bean store if you are not interested in paying 10-15 euro for breakfast. you can catch a bus or tram into downtown which is great and is 15-20min ride. Our room faced the market so in the morning we could hear people setting up stalls for the market at 6:30am which was rather loud but all i had to do was close the window.Anonymous

Lovely room, clean. very pleasant staff. very nice reception area, good first impression of the hotel.Only negative was the en-suite bathroom handle. it was lying on the cabinet in the bedroom when we arrived and i had to attach it to the door myself but it fell off when i tried to shut the door from inside the bathroom. the reception staff arranged for it to be fixed but when we returned the handle just fell off again, so at no point during our stay could we shut the bathroom door properly.Anonymous

Our stay at the hotel was made all the more pleasurable by the very friendly, efficient staff. on arrival we were greeted by a very charming receptionist, who managed to book us into our room earlier than was expected. the staff are a credit to the best western chain. we have stayed in many hotels in different countries, but the customer service shown at this hotel was one of the best we have ever received.A little far from the city centre, but the staff were more than helpfull in providing assistance and guidance on the various modes of transport available.Anonymous

Very nice hotel, excellent stuff and service, great breakfast.Very, very far away from any city attractions and pretty expensive by taxi;15 eu to downtown, and 40eu to the airport.

The staff were lovely, with only one exception. the barman was so considerate, the food was fanstastic quality and the rooms were beautiful.
