"trip to Amsterdam with my wife"
The hotel was somewhat distant from the city center, but the good price/quality ratio we had and the fact that walking in Amsterdam is safe and enjoyable made it ok for us to walk 40 minutes. Quality of the bedding is excellent and the room in itself is clean and of a decent size.Bathroom is also clean although could be better . Sink was clogged up and this was notified to the reception but was not fixed. It was notified again on departure and they regretted this had not been fixed when notified the first time. Reception was friendly and the receptionist gave us good information. Breakfast was good, but table service could have been better and buffet dishes were sometimes empty.Overall, a good hotel and a plesant stay.Amsterdam in itself does not require more than a 2 day stay for visiting. It's fairly small and you can get around easily by foot if you don't mind some walking.

"big room for the price in Amsterdam"
Amsterdam is really expensive regarding the hotel, I 've pay around 130 euros per night, that is a basic price in Amsterdam and we had a big room the hotel was clean and it offering nice option. If you stay in the center for this price you will see how small the room are and how expensive it is. That's right it's a little bit far from the center think that you will need to pay the tram , or we have walk 1 time directly to center it was about 1hour walk. The location is the problem. But you will have a nice room and a relax amtmosphere!

"It will be better if it has free WI-FI in the room."
The price of the hotel is high. But I can't understand there is no free WI-FI in the room.Even there is no free WI-FI in the lobby. It is so inconvenient for the travelers. And the design of the shower is so poor. After you take a shower, the floor of the bathroom is so wet.Otherwise ,it's good.

"Nice Place to stay but a bit out of the way"
The Hotel was perfect. Quite far out of town but a lovely walk through the Manhatten Village style neighbourhood, through the main park, down the Fashion streets into town. Good healthy walking although wish they supplied free bikes or tram travel cards for the price paid.Otherwise, very nice hotel and rooms. People where lovely

 "The hotel was nice"
Pros: The hotel was nice
Cons: No one advised us that the hotel breakfast was not included. we know that supposed to be our task to check, but the staff had to ask before you go for breakfast. we had to pay more is there spoiled the holiday. in the website was no clear that we had to pay even more goverment tax, changing everyday depending of the cost of the room each day.

 "Professional, friendly and helpful staff"
Pros: Professional, friendly and helpful staff. we were offered an upgrade from a deluxe room to an executive room and were very happy with the quality of our surrounds. the hotel is located in a quieter district of amsterdam but is close to some delicious restaurants and upmarket shops. the town centre is just a tram ride away. as we were on our way back home after a long overseas holiday, the quieter, attractive surrounds were just what we needed.
