 "celebration of 50th birthday"
the hotel was in a great location overlooking a canal and just about the right distance from the centre of the city to walk to. The room was fantastic, a great mix of modern and traditional features. Very light ,bright with a huge bed, with a tv that pops up at the base. My girlfriend loved the bathroom with a bath made for two and a waterfall shower.The stay here made her 50th birthday extra special ,and we have already told many friends what a fab place it was to stay.

 "Duke Suite"
Amstel Corner is located in a peaceful district away from busy streets and crowds, with convenient access to trams and other public transit. It is within 10 minutes walk from local shops like Lidl, Albert Heijn and a laudatory. The kitchen (including induction cooker, multi-function microwave oven, kettle, coffee-machine and cookwares etc) in the Duke suite is just what we needed. Duke Suite is on the top floor with nice view of canals.

 "Fantastic base for Amsterdam visit"
Firstly a big thank you to Maria and Fabriano !! Most welcoming hosts, very well organised and had everything ready even though we arrived earlier than expected.had a lovely surprise of a lovely bottle of champagne and a little note to congratulate us on our 15th wedding anniversary which was the reason for our trip. The room was fantastic, great views and the amenities were great also! Loved the bathroom ... Could have spent all day in there lol ... Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and everything to make our stay the best ever .. Can't wait to go back

Pros: We stayed in the honey moon suite and found it absolutely brilliant. we could not fault it. as a young couple getting up a couple of flights of stairs (despite being a little steep) was no issue.
after knowing how to get around you see the loction is ideal because it is a short walk (10 mins)to find everyting you could want but also if you want to sit back and relax and get away from it you have that too. 5* and top class. would recommend and would go again! :)

Pros: Great location, peaceful area. would stay in the area again
Cons: Website stated there would be a dvd player in the room which is one reason we booked it, but there wasnt one available. i also would class this as a hotel room not an apartment. i thought it was too expensive for what it was.
