We were warmly welcomed by staff of this very small hotel, and made to feel at home instantly. breakfast was varied and high quality. location was quiet, but easy to access amsterdam's attractions.
My laptop could not access the wireless internet, but it may have been a problem with my laptop.

Very comfortable stay in a quiet room and staff friendly and helpful
Our booking had not got through to hotel correctly - possible problems with hotel's e-mail - and so only one room had been booked for us instead of 2. the single room (of the two) that we were offered was very small and a bit claustrophobic, and did not have all the facilities that were described on the website. however, on request, the hotel staff were fine about giving us another room as fortunately, they had another available. some of the problem seemed to be that the hotel had had a lift installed and consequently rooms had lost space. this meant that some of the information on the website gave the wrong impression as it presumably had not been updated since the lift had been installed.

Excellent choice mature couple nothing to complain about. the room was overloking the suburb street and very quiet upmarket area. trams at bottom of street for all attractions and town centre. the owner could not be more pleasant and accommodating and made our stay very special. all the help we needed with airport transport and no problem with an early breakfast. the dining room is spotless and the breakfast had a variety of choices with food being topped up all the time. no hesitation at all in recommending the hotel for a hassle free relaxed stay.
Missed having tea facilities in the room.

Good atmosphere, nice staff.
Breakfast from 8 am is too late. 7 am would be the least. breakfast times must be indicated on web-site.

This is a very good little hotel that was very simple, but clean with friendly staff. they are perfectly located for tourist to walk to the van gogh, rijiksmuseum and boarding a canal ride. they served a wonderful breakfast. we plan to stay there again on our next visit.
We found nothing negative about the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel provides a very good breakfast. there is a lift to all floors, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. the hotel is in a quiet yet central location. it is easy to walk to all major attractions in amsterdam, for example the jordaan district is the furthest away part of central amsterdam from the hotel and a picturesque easy stroll along the canals took us there in about an hour. for those who want to use the trams, a short walk in either direction from in front of the hotel takes you to major tram routes that cover most of the city centre.

My stay was brief but i found the hotel very nice. the staff was very freindly and helpful. the location to the museums is excellent. unfortunately i had to leave before breakfast was served which would have added to the already excellent value.

Very quiet.
Like many other hotel guests, i booked this hotel based on the great reviews in tripadvisor; we all agree that the hotel was not suitable for business travellers and all in all, rather expensive for what it is. very small rooms. only 1 or 2 persons at the reception: so sometimes when this person is busy, he/she forget to get things done. internet is not working in the rooms (only in the lounge); during the stay, at times, the internet connection was not working at all. my phone was not working and the staff didnt take message. it took 2 days to get it fixed. this hotel is like a family pension.
