The location is excellent with only a short walk on foot from the train station and located near some funky bars etc. good kitchen area where you can help yourself to tea and coffee with free internet. 
Room had twin beds rather than a double so not ideal for couples! the room was located adjacent to the breakfast room and fire exit on the ground floor which was a little noisy and hot with only a small window for ventiliation. ask for a room on 1st floor or above! Briggs

Clean room and friendly staff. well situated. delicious breakfast.Steep stairs (and no lift) made it a little difficult to carry cases upstairs. an extra hand rail might have been useful.Anonymous

The staff were amazing could only do things to help me.. great!The first night the room was tiny.... like a cell they need to tell guests about the steep stairs for old people it would be v, difficult... for me it was great... definitely not for mature travelers... or american ones !Anonymous

The staff was very helpful and exceeded our expectations. the rooms were neat and clean except for the smokey smell in one room. One room had a very smokey smell. no other rooms were available so we were given four free breakfasts. the room also opened to the street which was noisy late at night.Anonymous

I spent the night at your hotel with my boyfriend, the only thing that we were not happy with was we had to sleep on 2 single beds pushed together rather than a double and the same with the bedding, not very good for a romantic night especially when i fell through the middle of the bed and landed on the floorMichelle Read

The staff was very pleasant and the room was fantastic! excellent location for the value! i would definitely stay here again.The only negative side was that the bathroom drain gave a mildew smell. otherwise, the entire room and bathroom were spotless.Anonymous

Hotel in excellent location five minutes from central station but very pretty and quiet area staff very nice breakfast ok free coffee very welcome We were in room 331 firstly a member of staff had to unlock the door for us every time we needed to get in as card reader not working the room was very small but did have a nice canal view as i had requested as other reviews have said the hotel is basic but i feel the renovations were done cheaply the lights did not work apart from the main over head one the bathroom shelf sloped so nothing could be placed on it the television was at an angle that affected the colour and the pillows on the rather small double were like bricks! we did request some more pillows but even these were not that comfortable overall i think the hotel is very overpriced we paid 140 euros per night and we only had the canal view for two nights and were then moved to a room that had not yet been renovated
