CitizenM Hotel was a nice place to stay while my girlfriend and I spent a weekend in Amsterdam. It allowed for easy access to train and the airport. The rooms were very tidy and well kept and the service we recieved from the staff was very helpful. The price of our stay was a little high considering it wasn't in the city centre , this was the only offputting factor, and would have given pause for thought when booking if it weren't for the late hour in which we were booking our holiday.

We had a good night but had an a unfortuanate incident in the publiv snack bar. I trapped my thumb between the freeser door and the upright and it was very painful causing my nail to blacken. This a very bad design

Pros: Location was excellent, just 5 minutes away from the airport.

Cons: Bathroom and shower can be seen from your bed and there is no privacy. if with family, this is really embarrassing however living alone is good.

Pros: Every city in the world should have a citizen m hotel. from the personable staff, to the uber modern rooms, complete with personal color choices and free movies/internet, to in-room music and every possbile amenity, this is the best budget hotel in europe and around the world.
Cons: Only that there aren't more citizen m hotels. i can't wait to stay again.

Pros: Loved the spacious lobby area and the integrated restaurant/bar/supermarket. simple access to wifi and computers with printing. very friendly and helpful staff.

Pros: Brilliant, the coolest hotel i have ever stayed in. already recommended it to many people. my youngest daughter just loved the place, she wants to go back there just to stay once again in it. great
Cons: We didn't stay two nights only one :))))for the recommendations below i would indicate all not be limited to just one choice. honeymooners maybe not. noise did carry into the corridor and through the walls. not recommended in honeymoon situations. :)

Pros: On arrival staff were there to help with your booking and so on. very helpful and excellent english speaking staff. room was compact but excellent extremely clean and futuristically stylish. very very comforatable and quiet "free films" shower and toilet pods amazing. something to experience.
Cons: The only negative we had to this fab hotel was the breakfast in a paper carrier ! a buffet hot / cold breakfast would be much better. it felt like being at school. this i have to add the contents were of good quality but please not in a bag. that aside great hotel for short stay.
