"Great renewing concept with top service."

The CitizenM is a renewing concept. You need to get adjusted to the toilet and shower in the room. I didn't know that and especially the toilet was a challenge. Luckily I was with my spouse and not my mother in law or so.Remote for all the lights, blinds and tv is very handy. Lovely to play with ;-).The staff is very kind and service is great. Dinner-options are poor, but tasty. Price is very good for the quality you get. I'm coming back for sure if I need to stay overnight in Amsterdam. RAI is a 10 min-walk and tram 5 takes you to the central station within 15 min.

"Loved this hotel"

We both loved this hotel, it was a very new and novel style of living almost combining the concepts of hotel and hostel. The staff were very helpful. Every room ( ours and the communal spaces) were all immaculate. It's a bit out from the city but we found that the 24 hour tram pass got us what we needed to get around. In addition the airport link to the local station being around the corner meant that 6 euro could easily get you to the airport in about 8 minutes.

Pros: Very pleasant welcoming staff, luxurious modern rooms and unique atmosphere. a sight in itself at the outskirts of amsterdam, perfect for a pair of young travellers.
Cons: The location initial caused some difficulty, especially if unfamiliar with the local transport system. however this was soon made easy with the citizenm city map.

"This hotel was amazing, from the self service check in, wonderful room..."

Pros: This hotel was amazing, from the self service check in, wonderful room entertainment(including an amazing selection of movies), self service breakfast, to very helpful english speaking staff.

we had a wonderful time and will definitely be visiting again.
Cons: We were charged a bit more taxes when we arrived than expected so our bill was about 5% more.

"Hotel was very modern and the room was brilliant"

Pros: Hotel was very modern and the room was brilliant. we had a great time here, hotel is just a short tram ride into the centre and web shorter train ride from the airport. we would definatley stay here again.
Cons: When we ordered food it was burnt and expensive so we did not eat here again. also the music in our room did not work. but apart from those tiny bits everything was great!

Pros: Excellent hotel. easy to get into main city attractions, excellent service staff were extremely helpful. value was amazing would stay in this chain i'm every city unfortunately haven't expanded far enough yet.
Cons: A little intimate at times but minor in terms of hotel offering.
