The hotel is in a good location, with easy access to the train station, shops and sights, but the room was very quiet, there is also a lift.There was a strong smell of sewerage both in the lobby and in our bathroom.
we found the reception staff to be very unpredictable sometimes they were willing to help and other times they did not.

It was clean, the staff polite, it was central to our needs.
the breakfast was excellent.Although it was cental in location it over looked a busy road and tram line so there was continues noise and as the room did not have air conditioning you needed to open the window added to this promlem there were crains as high as our 5th floor room that started working at 6 am, we did not get a decent night sleep the 3 nights we stayed at the cordial. this was not our choice of hotel you cancelled the original hotel we booked because of alot of complaints you had received.this hotel is unsuitable for the elderley or young children as the rooms reached unbearable temperatures. courtney

Stayed for 2 nights, was nice & basic for the price we paid. it was just as i had read from the other reviews and one great factor about the hotel is the location! the beds were also very comfy.Abit dark on the stairs, steep stairs but thats generally the same with every amsterdam building! breakfast wasn't to my liking but each to their own.Anonymous

Overall the hotel is good to stay in for weekend breaks.great location, good berakfast and very nice staff.The room was to dark even during the day it is necessary to put lights on...the bathroom was not very clean. hotel should be less expensive.Partanen
