Pros: Clean room, polite reception staff.
Cons: I think the hotel is a little too far away to be classed as 'schiphol'. there is literally nowhere to go in that area if you want to get something to eat outside the hotel, which probably explains the food prices and the fact that coca-cola is more expensive than water in the mini-bar. they basically know you have to pay that. i think charging for the shuttle under those circumstances is an utter disgrace.
changing rooms for the pool area were dirty and the restaurant staff seemed to have a little bit of an attitude.

Pros: Excellent location, facilities and most importantly friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The hotel-airport shuttle should have been free. i know i am picking on small things here, but after paying a decent amount for staying for 3-4 days, you do get a bit irritated when you have to pay for a 15 minute shuttle bus!

Pros: The room was a good size even for four and the mattress was very comfortable, just the right level of firmness. we liked the breakfast very much.
Cons: We did not have clear directions to get to the hotel from the train station. there were no signs and directions after we got off the train.

Pros: Nice hotel just a few minutes from the schipol airport which makes it ideal for if you have to catch a flight and are running late. i stayed in the hotel with my family (2 adults, 2 kids and an infant). the 4 person room was spacious enough and very clean. i really enjoyed the hot shower (high water pressure and excellent mixer). the breakfast (optional with room) was excellent. the town of hoofsdorp is a twenty minute walk away with large shopping areas. hoofsdorp station is also 15 minutes walk away. hotel staff were very friendly. airport shuttle to hotel from schipol is free, back to schipol is 7.50 euro (good value). i stayed twice in crowne plaza (during my arrival and departure from netherlands).i will stay again at this hotel whenever i am in amsterdam.

Pros: We have a wonderful stay at the hotel and were able to relax after a tireful day sightseeing in amsterdam.
Cons: Not able to swim on a saturday morning, as there are children's swimming lessons going on, which we were not informed about. it was impressed upon us by the parents of the children that it would not be a good idea to swim whilst their children were having a lesson. the pool was free at 11.30, but we have to check out that morning at 12.00.
