The hotel was close to tourist activities and provided easy access to transport and tours. 
The room standard was backpacker type accomodation and the staff were very abrupt, bordering on rude.Anonymous

Its was in an excellent location in the centre of everythin but still quiet enuf 2 get a good nite sleep. the shower is lovely.The room was less then impressive, very small an not wat they look like in the pictures at all. there was a really bad smell despite leaving windows open constantly. very disappointed.Anonymous

Surprisingly clean for as little as we paid, although a bit of a mission to get to our room (entrance is through the orange tulip hotel)This is a non smoking hotel, but nowhere does this say it until you check in! a mission to get to the room itself, up the stairs to the orange tulip hotel reception, up another flight of stairs, across a corridor behind the building, down some stairs to the lift, up 2 floors to our room. not easy to do whilst wasted!Anonymous

When i arrived the name of the hotel was the orange tulip not dam hotel. the staff acted bothered that i had arrived. they said that my credit card was rejected and made me pay cash. i called them and there was nothing wrong with it at all. the pictures on the website were nothing like the room that i received. i paid $155 for a sarding can with the sink in the middle of the room and a set of bunkbeds. very romantic for my husband and i to sleep in different beds on vacation. what a rip off. Burns

Clean beds/bathroom, good location.The size of the room was shocking. we had a triple room and was more like a 1 bed instead. no room to move and room looked right onto a hotel corridor so people could see straight into the room. would be going to the dam hotel again....Anonymous

The location was good close to the train station and to the centreWe booked a family room in the dam hotel and were given a room with 2 bunk beds on the top floor oof the orange tulip. there were lots of steep steps, and the view was rubbish, curtain rail looked fragile no tv,don`t go thereAnonymous
