when we arrived the check in was poor took for ages and lost almost an hour there was only 8 rooms booked but the guy on reception was to slow for my liking and kept everyone waiting till the end instead of letting us go once he had that room sorted

Firstly, I was greeted very well by the receptionist. Transaction were fast and clear. He took his time to explain everything in detail. Rooms are very small. The bed was placed into a room where it would fit only two of them. Bathroom was bigger. Everything promised was there (TV, telephone, hairdryer, hot-water etc.). Nevertheless, people kept going in and out on the floor which you could hear clearly, making me hard to sleep. For a nnight or max 2, it's ok to stay at this hotel.

Was better than most in Amsterdam in an excellent location. Was clean spacious enjoyed it loads!!!! Key system works a treat. There was no maid service but not to be expected if your in the dam!

Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: There was no hot water each morning when we was there, the room was freezing cold and was quite an unpleasant stay. i have stayed there a few times now and wouldn't stay there again, i will be emailing the delta direct as i want a partial refund

Pros: The location and reception staff helpful

Pros: Great staff. the check-in clerk took the time to thoroughly walk us through all of the possibilities for dinner and entertainment in the neighborhood. she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and provided a great introduction to amsterdam.
Cons: The room was, without comparison, the worst i've ever stayed in. the toilet was experiencing some sort of sewage gas backup, with putrid little bubbles popping up every few seconds and perfuming the room with a terrible smell. to say the carpets were stained and greasy would be inaccurate, as it would imply there were areas of the carpet that were not covered in grime. finally, there was what sounded like an entire colony of rats happily at work and play in the ceiling above the room. their scratchings and little squeaks were clearly audible and served to keep me awake and my girlfriend in a prolonged state of agitation.

Pros: This is 5th time i've stayed here, booking each time through easytobook. i have nothing but good things to say, friendly staff, great breakfast, decent sized, clean smoking rooms. no restraints with regards to the hotel reception closing, you can come and go as you please. located on damrak, close to bars, restaurants, dam square, and adjacent to red light district/coffeeshops. will be returning before end of the year.

Pros: Its was very close to all the atractions of amsterdam city
Cons: There wasnt enough towels for 3 adults and we ran out of toilet roll within 1st 2 hours of been in the room (only one roll provided) no coat hangers in the wardrobe to hang our clothes

Pros: The location was very good
Cons: There were 2 bad things:
1) we reserved room for 280 euro (2 nights) but when we came, the receptionist said that we had to pay 360 euro as the prices had changed and the agency who had done the reservation (venere) did it after the prices changed. we were talking to her for about 20 min, she was calling to several places. finally the question was almost resolved (we paid 280 euro + 5% taxes). but it was very unplesant.
2) the windows were quite bad, it was nosiy and cold.
