The Di Ann Hotel is located in historic surroundings between the Royal Palace and Dam Square. The hotel provides an excellent base for exploring the city of Amsterdam with many attractions nearby such as the Anne Frank Museum.
The hotel is situated in historical centre of Amsterdam, next to the Royal Palace, the Westerchurch and the Jordaan district with its picturesque market, shops, restaurants, art galleries. Museums, shopping areas, the flower market (around the corner) and the famous canals are within walking distance from the hotel. A few steps from the propery you can find an arcade with traditional Amsterdam shops and restaurants.
How to reach the Di Ann Hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take tram:1, 2, 5 ,13 and 17 from the square in front of the station to the dam/raadhuisstraat. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 3 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

I love the cat that greets you in the reception!
The room was very very small- it had a double bed with a couple of foot of floor space on one side. really it should only be a single bed room- it was that small.Anonymous

Nothing positve except the location...The room was dirty, my girlfriend dusted the room off as it was filthy, squashed wasp on the ceiling, no tea and coffee facilities as advertised, dirty net curtains and shower head would not hang as it was broken, overall v v unhappy and for 90 euros, well overpriced. maybe they should employ some cleaners???Anonymous

Bathroom was spotless and we got clean towels every day.There were a lot of steep stairs (36 steps to reception) and no lift. double bedroom was pretty small. carpet and curtains were a bit grubby.whitehead

The staff were pleasant enoughIn serious need of some decoration. rooms dirty - especially the bathroom/shower room. bed linen not changed. no remote control for the tv set - no volume control.no adequate (secure) wireless coverage in the rooms- even though this is advertised on the website. very expensive for such a dilapidated hotel.LIDDLE

Di-ann hotel was a great hotel, very comfortable, excellent location and was very good value for money. i would definately stay there again.The toaster was really slow & only cooked 1 side of the bread!rollings

Close to centre.Wasnt impressed by the room it was supposed too be deluxe when sitting on the toilet you hit your head on the wall.have stayed at other hotels with your company ie tulip art hotel bit further out of centre but lovely hotel cheaper price and that was at the new year.Anonymous

Requested a balcony which was good
breakfast was simply but okHad to wait nearly an hour before our room was ready for us.
from the pictures on the website i could see that the rooms would be small, but didnt realise how small!
the shower did work but you had to hold the shower head as it would not attach to the rail
should have been told that the balcony looks out over a fairly busy road with trams and quite noisy!Anonymous

My daughter has a bad back and needs a hard bed. the staff were very obliging and we managed to sort something out for her. also my daughter dropped her ring on the balcony it fell into the gutter which was not accessable. however, the staff were extremely helpful and managed to retrieve the ring.Rooms very small and lots of stairs.Morrison

Great location, friendly and helpful staffInternet did not work. smoking in the hotel, despite the room being a non smoking room, it was obvious that smokers has used the room, and there were loads of cigarette ends scattered around the baclony, narrow range of foods for breakfast.Anonymous
