Helpful receptionists, best choice of breakfast so far, very central, can keep bags before check in / after check out, clean basic rooms.Rooms could do with a lick of paint and new sheets (we had holey ones but clean!)Anonymous

Hotel room was small and very much just the bed and the bathroom but was clean and secure. reception staff were very helpful and the location was excellant. if all i wanted was a place to sleep while i visit amsterdam then i would stay there again.Needs redecorating and because its in the middle off the city there is noise outside on a night time.JUDITH

The hotel location is superb! you have everything you need in amsterdam within a 2minute walk! rooms are decent and reasonably clean. This is a budget hotel with basic amenities. would not recommend to travellers accustomed to luxuries. however there was this odor in the hallway... Anonymous

The hotel is located in the very central part of amsterdam, so you can walk to the main touristic points. the hotel has a restaurant, which was nice too.The pictures on the website give the impression that the hotel is much nicer that it is in reality. the room was the smallest one that i've seen in my life. the room itself was clean, but the hotel is a little tacky and doesn't seem to be very well taken care of. the guests were noisy at night. i would recommend this hotel only to people who really don't have any more money to stay at a better place.Anonymous

I was very impressed with the staff who were very friendly and helpfull. the room was small, but clean and that is whats important. the small rooms is just enough.. who needs luxury if you are there to tour?The only unpleasant thing, was the one evening, the third floor just smelt of marijuana/dagga.
