The Eden Amsterdam Centre Hotel is located in the historic centre of Amsterdam right next to the dazzling Leidseplein with its many bars, restaurants, terraces, theatres and the Casino. From Leidseplein you can also make a canal tour or rent a bike. The world-famous Vondelpark, Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt) and Van Gogh Museum are within a few minutes walking distance as well as the major shopping areas such as the PC Hooftstraat and the Leidsestraat. Anne Frank House is situated at appr. 15 min. from the hotel. Tram 1,2 and 5 stop opposite to the hotel.
How to reach the Eden Amsterdam Centre Hotel?By public transportation from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport/Central Station: Take the train to Amsterdam Central Station (www.ns.nl). Continue with tram 1, 2 or 5 (www.gvb.nl) and get off at the Leidseplein (square). Continue on foot by following the tram tracks. Cross the bridge and turn right. You will find the Eden Amsterdam Centre Hotel on your left hand-side.
By car from Den Haag (The Hague)/Schiphol Amsterdam Airport (A4): Follow highway A4, direction Amsterdam. Arriving at Amsterdam you will enter ring road A10; take exit “A10 Zuid S 101 t/m 108”. Take exit “S 106 Overtoomse Veld”. Turn right at the traffic lights at the end of this exit. Cross the roundabout at Surinameplein and move into the left lane while crossing a bridge (follow the sign “Oud West – Centrum”): you will turn left on the “Overtoom”. At the end of the Overtoom (about 1000 meters) turn left on the “Nassaukade”. After 20 meters you will see the Eden Amsterdam Centre Hotel at your left hand-side. You can park your car in the hotel parking next to the hotel at the “1e Helmerstraat” (advance reservation recommended).

The staff was amazing, the room was pretty big, location excellent.
the hotel is a true 3 star hotel...
you will not be disappointed..

Location was very good. the reception staff was courteous. rooms were very clean and comfortable. all in all this should have been a great experienceWe booked 2 double rooms prepaid and reserved parking, on arrival we were told they only had 1 room, no parking. after much ado they located a single, very small and stuffy room. we were not given a 2nd double until the next day when our party wanted to check out early. reception staff were very nice and tried to correct problem but management was not at all helpful. neither hotel nor easytobook.com responded to our written complaint. We arrived extra early in the morning and as our room wasn't ready (not that it should have been)the hotel allowed us to check our luggage in to the locked store room. staff were extremely pleasent and helpful, good local knowledge and advice. this survey only allows me to select one type of person i would recommend this hotel too, i personally think it would suit most travellers, it was certainly good value, simple no great thrills, but a good base to tour from and very clean.The furnishings were a little tired in the bedroom but the beds and bedding were very good and comfy, i sleeped like a log. The rooms are clean, the staff are pleasant and helpful. it is undergoiong new management and i think the improvements made are good.The rooms are very compact but the website does tell you that...the steps at the front entrance are really steep but that is what you get in amsterdamAnonymous

We had a pleasent stay at the hotel and would use the hotel again - staff were pleasent and the we had everything we needed.At the bar within the hotel we waited to be served for so long that in the end we had to ask for service even when we were always in full view of the man at the hotel front desk.parris

We originally booked 6 twins,on arrival there were only 6 doubles for 12 men.after saying it wasnt their fault and nothing could be done we obviously complained.eventually we had 3 doubles and 3 twins.in fact they were all doubles!!why advertise twins if there are no twins?amsterdam is a wonderful place so for a couple of njghts it was worth it,but check firstKing
