"room size great, cleanliness not even everage"
the location is very good, all the interesting places can be reached by foot within three quaters of an hour; bed and room size were really great; the bathroom and the floor were not as clean as I expected them to be (chalk spots); breakfast is very expensive

"Excellent Location and Value for Money"
This hotel was in the perfect location and excellent value for money. Staff were polite and very helpful. Rooms were clean and as pictures showed. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Rembrandt Square is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. You can catch a number 4 or 9 tram from central station to the square. Ice bar is a must which is just a few doors up from the hotel.

 "very disappointing"
hotel very noisy : several times during our stay at night we were awakened by the occupants of the room above. That was quite disturbing especially as they were performing their sexual duties !!!!We were in Amsterdam nontheless privacy should have been preserved in that type of hotel !

 "not bad"
Stayed for 4 days, staff were mostly very good, apart from one receptionist who was rude. Rooms were of a good standard, but bedside cabinets were quite dusty, soap dispensers in bathroom brake every time you use them. Hair dryer didn't work (cuts out every 10 seconds) and totally unusable. Free hot drinks was a nice arrangement however I don't drink tea or coffee and the hot chocolate was empty for three days running, and not replenished so I went without! Air conditioning in room was great. Location is excellent. With some attention to detail improvements it would be very good

"Cheated of a view but not told"
We have stayed in this hotel before and found it to be very comfortable so when we arrived we paid for an upgrade to a room overlooking the canal which we had done previiously. However, despite taking our money and giving us the room looking over the canal we were not told there was scaffolding and nets over the windows so we could not asctually see very much at all and there were men walking along the scaffolding all the time during the day. had we been told this we would not have pauid the extra for a canal view which we didnt get!

"Very comfortable hotel near centre of Amsterdam"
I and my future husband wanted to live in clean comfort hotel near city centre. This hotel was the such. 10-15 minutes on foot to to the main sights and clubs. We didn't use by bas or tram. There is one small window in the room therefore it is always dark. But were in the room for nights only and it was ok!

 "Can't wait to get back"
I am organising a cycle tour of The Netherlands, finishing in Amsterdam for 12 men this Summer and my three day stay with my wife was part Valentine treat, part reconnaisance for the bike ride. I visited lots of hotels in different parts of the city, checking out suitability for bikes and value. I soon realised that the hotel that we were staying at was the ideal choice for the cycle tour. The rooms were large, the bed was comfortable and the location ideal, just a short walk from everywhere but away from the mayhem of the Centrum and the Red Light District. So close to Rembrandt Square and the flower market and all the bars and restaurants you could need. The staff were excellent, including pleasant and effecient reception staff, a very cheerful barman and a multi- ligual concierge who was extremely helpful. I have already raved about the hotel to my friends and have booked for our bike ride in the summer.

 "BAD SERVICE,,,,,,,,"
staff would not provide a drink (except water from the tap or a redbull from a machine) from 2am till 8am. i have stayed with you on multiple occasions since 2006 but the service by the night staff was the worst i have had anywhere over ten years. i will NOT be staying at your hotel again and will advise others not to use the eden hotel.

 "Excellent hotel."
disadvantage was not enough staff at reception and always needed to wait a long time for service.Even at checkout which was urgent because I needed to catch a flight I waited 25 minutes for someone to do checkout.
