Overall, everything was terrific. the staff was pleasent, the facilities were clean. the breakfast in the morning was a standard european breakfast (bread, meat, cheese), except they also had eggs which was a nice surprise. the location was terrific. for people who generally do not like to walk a lot, there is a bike rental a block over that is very convenient. this hotel was perfect for our purpose of sleeping and cleaning up. there is definitely too much going on and to see in amsterdam to stay couped up in a hotel room. we would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place close to the center, cheaper than other places, and only using it for the basics. 
Compared to american standards, for the money, the room was tiny. however, for european standards, the room was average. even though it is listed as air conditioned, do not expect a traditional american ac option. generally european ac is a radiator that cold water flows through. it doesn't actually produce flowing cold air. the bed was a little on the soft side, but comfortable enough for both my husband and i.Williams

Breakfast was very good, the hotel in general was very plezant, nice bed, safe was very nice, nice bathroom, nice tv with cool channels on it.If there is one thing i have to say it was the housekeeping, they woke us up 2 days in a row when we were sleeping late, then when we left the hotel early when the housekeeping had the chance to come in our room they did changed the towels but not the bedsheets. not that it has to be changed every day but we stayed for 5 days so it woud have been nice to have the bedsheets changed once.Anonymous

I like your hospitality. i'm a japanese but i'd like to cheer up chinese people running such a good hotel like yours. If i tried to say about negative things, there is some difference in floor level between the room and the bathroom. my kids and i stumpted. it might be risky...Anonymous

We really enjoyed this hotel was perfect for wee break and in centre of amsterdam walking distances to everything. great!!!Not really just only one member of staff actually chatted to us but not big deal whole city has very ignorant people anyway lolAnonymous

Room was very small but adequate for one night stay, clean and good tv, shower good tap on sink a bit loose! Make sure you are up for breakfast 10 am prompt everything removed.candela

The hotel was very clean & the staff were nice.Yes, the room was very very small, and the bed was very uncomfortable not like a hotel bed, too soft. also no bar facilities in the hotel. i would not recommend this hotel.Roberts

The hotel is situated close to the centre of amsterdam and is convenient to get to most of the sights of the city. staff were all polite and pleasent and the rooms were clean and good value for money. Considering that the hotel was good value for money the hotel parking at £30 a night was an absolute rip off!
also not a major problem but quite bazzar, was that the en-suite toilet was backing onto the entrance to the bathroom. so you had to walk around the toilet, with all the pipes and plumbing showing at the back, to get into the bathroom! very strange!
