Frisco Inn is situated in the city centre of Amsterdam walking distance from Central Station, Dam Square and the Kalverstraat.
Frisco Inn is located right on the edge of everything, behind us is the famous red light district with the oldest monuments, cobble stone streets and beautiful architecture, to the left is the famous Dam Square with the Queens Palace, to the right there are tour boats and Central Station, and in front you can find the longest shopping street and all beautiful canals with some of the most luxurious properties in Amsterdam, all well worth seeing!
How to reach the Frisco Inn?From the airport: You can either take a taxi (approximately 20 minutes) or a train (approximately 15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station ('Amsterdam CS'). From there, follow the directions below.
From the Central Station of Amsterdam: From the station it's a 5-minute walk to the hotel:
- Take the main exit and go straight out in the direction of the Dam Square onto the Damrak;
- Follow this main street (Damrak) which you can recognize from the canal boats on your left and the Victoria hotel on your right-hand side;
- At the end of the canal (when you see the Grasshopper building on your left) turn left into de 'Oude Brugsteeg';
- At the next street (at the entrance of the Grasshopper) turn right into the 'Beursstraat' and the hotel is situated on number 5.

Easy to find from central station, clean rooms.The stairs leading up to the rooms are lethal, very steep and narrow treads, a small double is more like a single room with a double bed in it, had to climb over bed to get to the windowbray

The rooms were small as described but perfectly formed, clean,warm and comfortable. the location was perfect for all sights and attractions. free pool was a bonus and staff were helpful and friendly.A kettle and facility to make a hot drink should be a basic minimum and a cup available for this. rooms were not serviced daily as informed. the stairs were shockingly steep but again as advertised and adequate. our window was broken and no attempt to fix during our stay. a comfortable chair instead of a stool would be an asset. Good size room with a sofa. newly decorated. excellent location. no negative experience except the small issue of the bed.Two twing beds pushed together is not a double bed - especially as i had booked the deluxe double room!Anonymous

The staff were so nice, especially kelly! location was fantastic, so central. i would definately book this hotel again just for its location!Our towels werent changed at all in the 3 nites we stayed there. we stayed in the small double room and it was very very small! stairs were very steep.Sinclair

Most amazing location a stone's throw from the station. we had a large ensuite double room on the top floor. stairs were killer but we'd been to amsterdam before so knew to expect that.Church bells. so loud!Anonymous

We couldn't have asked for a better location, as it was right near the red light district in the heart of the city.
the room was clean, well equipped, with an ensuite bathroom.
i would highly recommend this hotel for well priced comfortable accomodation.When we stayed, we went for an afternoon nap in the room, and the pub venue a few doors down was having a loud live percussion session! didn't mind too much, as it was during the day.Anonymous

The location was excellent and rooms were really clean brillant stay if i was to go back i would stay in the frisco innThe safe didnt work in the room bt they let you use the safe in the bar and the stairs were a killer bt you got used to them
