Frisco Inn is situated in the city centre of Amsterdam walking distance from Central Station, Dam Square and the Kalverstraat.
Frisco Inn is located right on the edge of everything, behind us is the famous red light district with the oldest monuments, cobble stone streets and beautiful architecture, to the left is the famous Dam Square with the Queens Palace, to the right there are tour boats and Central Station, and in front you can find the longest shopping street and all beautiful canals with some of the most luxurious properties in Amsterdam, all well worth seeing!
How to reach the Frisco Inn?From the airport: You can either take a taxi (approximately 20 minutes) or a train (approximately 15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station ('Amsterdam CS'). From there, follow the directions below.
From the Central Station of Amsterdam: From the station it's a 5-minute walk to the hotel:
- Take the main exit and go straight out in the direction of the Dam Square onto the Damrak;
- Follow this main street (Damrak) which you can recognize from the canal boats on your left and the Victoria hotel on your right-hand side;
- At the end of the canal (when you see the Grasshopper building on your left) turn left into de 'Oude Brugsteeg';
- At the next street (at the entrance of the Grasshopper) turn right into the 'Beursstraat' and the hotel is situated on number 5.

Location is absolutely fantastic being slap bang in the centre of everything, even though this is the case we found noise pollution wasn't a problem either. staff are very friendly and helpful. rooms very clean & housekeeping very good. a really fun place to stay and will definately be staying here again ..... hopefully soon!!!!!
Not really a negative but the stairs, like all dutch dwellings, were steep. being careful takes care of this problem.Anonymous

Had a great time whilst in amsterdam and the location of this hotel helps its right in the heart of the action. the rooms are clean and tidy. don't be put off by other reviews about the stairs this is normal for amsterdam, you just deal with it. would stay here again as it offer good value.cormack

The location was and easy walk to the train station. the place was clean and had a lot of light from the windows. close to everything in the city center. secure doors and cameras for your protection. The room was very small, there was a problem with the drain in the shower. many steep steps (almost ladder like) when you enter. i wouldn't recommend it to any one with knee problems or the accident prone. grech

Staff were very helpful and the location was brilliant, right in the centre of the coffeshops and bars. Our room was extremely small - just enough room for the double bed with no room to walk around it, stairs were ridiculously steep and renovations were being carried out while we were staying which were very noisy.Anonymous
