The hotel is at walking distance from the bus stop. The trams and buses in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.
By car: From the ringway A10 coming from the North, you take exit S101, and coming from the South you take exit S102. At the end of the exit, follow the signs to the city centre and after 500 meters you see the hotel on your right-hand side.

The hotel was modern and well decorated. we were pleased with the size of the room.
I did not realize that it was out of the city centre until the reservation had been made. it would have been helpful if this was a little clearer.Anonymous

The room was excellent. very clean and comfortable. the shower and bath were brilliant and the toilet very clean. the cafe was quite well priced and open until 1am for food and drink.The staff were not entirely helpful, and at times quite rude and arrogant. even after spending over 100 euros on food and drink at the hotel cafe during our stay, a waiter was very rude to us when my girlfriend tried to eat a bagel she'd brought from down the street. i was eating a meal i had bought from the hotel cafe, yet the waiter was extremely rude when telling her she could not eat the bagel in the cafe. the reception staff were also rude and ignored me when i tried to book in and check out. they took a call for 10 minutes so i had to wait for them to finish. The hotel is located away from the madness of the city center and you can bike or drive just 10 minutes and you're there! the hotel staff was very accomodating and they bent over backwards to help us with everything. we will definitely stay there again.We felt the rooms were kind of expensive for the size we got.johnson

On arrival they held our bags for we arrived earlier then check in time. the staff was very helpfull with information to get places. the room was very nice love the faucets in the bathroom reminded me of home for i have the same brand.NoReynolds

Cant speak so highly about amsterdam art hotel rooms where big enough for 2 people also hotel staff where very helpful with any information we required. rooms where clean and decor gives a freshness to the rooms.definately come back to this hotel againAnonymous

My husband and i walked it to the hotel as we know amsterdam quite well - but it was a fair walk. however there was an excellent bus service every ten minutes from outside the hotel. our room was ready at 12 noon even though check in was at 3pm - this was great as we wanted to drop off our cases and head back out. the room was out of this world the best i've ever stayed in!!! it was much nicer than my honeymoon suite in scotland and half the price!! it was decorated in my favourite colours red & purple. the furniture was abstract and funky, the bed was comfortable and large. great to have an iron & hairdryer although i never used it. had to chiil out in the sunken bath and was amazed at the power shower. didn't use the mini-bar, room service, restaurant or bar but it looked a high standard. the price was higher for this time a year but every city is the same and the pound was at an all time low making the trip quite costly when we got there hence not using all the services available!! will be back!!As we are smokers we found it a bit of a nuisance getting clothes on and going down 5 floors and out the front of the building for a cigarette!! perhaps a wee ventilated room somewhere would have made this better. however even if there were any smoking hotel rooms i wouldn't have wanted to as the rooms were so beautiful. the hotel lacked a bit of an atmosphere - deathly quite found myslef tip-t0eing back at night saying shhhhhh to my husband!!!!Thompson

Second visit and not disappointed with service facilities and overall courtesy shown by all staff. very pleasant experience ain the art cafe. Had the barbeque evening on saturday 2nd august but due to rain it was difficult for chef to cook food and therefore it was a little under cooked and cold by the time we ate at 8pm.
