Golden Tulip Lisse Amsterdam Location (Map)
The hotel is situated in the centre of the bulb region, next to the Keukenhof. It's only a short distance from the beach, the lakes and dunes and fascinating cities such as Amsterdam and The Hague. Vast flower bulb fields and beautiful blooming tulips coloring the surrounding area of the hotel.
The hotel is only 5 minutes from the A4 and 20 to 30 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The hotel is easy to reach by public transport and is 35 minutes away from Amsterdam city centre.
In the weekend of October 2nd, 2009 it is difficult to reach the hotel because of the road works outside the hotel. There are roadworks on the N208 and this can lead to delays. In the weekends of 18 September 2009 and 2 October 2009 the N208 will be closed out and you are going to be redirected. From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM.

We have stayed there two times in one month for our holland holiday. they have an outstanding complimentary breakfast. the room were clean and the hotel is in a quiet section of the lisse. if you do not mind taking a bus to schipol in order to take the train to centraal station, they i recommend this hotel. the staff is very helpful.The only thing negative that i experienced is the potential bedbugs in 250 that we stayed in.makpah

This hotel was excellent. its biggest advantage was that it was on a great bus route. we travelled all over to places such as gouda and zandoovort with no travel problems and used entirely public transport. heres a tip ask buss driver for a 12 euro buzzer ticket this ticket takes two people anywhere aftr 9.30am.We couldnt access pool due to really noisy boistress american kidsAnonymous

If you have a car great option to explore netherlands and even northern belgium.. only 15 mins from the nearest beach and 30 mins from more commercial noordwijk beach..good buffet as reported. nice n cosy swiming pool... generally very good deal.Apart from couple of receptionists who were rather mechanical and indifferent it was a very good stay... but the receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.makpah

We loved our stay in the golden luisse. it seemed to be the closest hotel to the kukenhof gardens as far as we could tell. we got an excellent price for 2 nights including breakfast. breakfast was amazing!!! there was a great variey of foods and plenty of it. the pool was also pleasant, as it was warm. the room was small but comfortable, although it seemed like we had two twin beds pushed together. but for the price, we weren't complianing! the tv had many different languages and the showers were nice and hot! oh, the free wi-fi worked perfectly and was an added bonus, not to menion the free parking! we would definitely stay at the golden tulip lisse again. The front desk lines were a little long. we also didn't realize there was a list of things to do in our room in english, until we were leaving. the information book in the lobby is only in dutch. Hotel staff very friendly and helpfullRoom not ready at check in time when we did get into room bathroom was not up to scratch and items mentioned in your information sheet were not in the bathroom. one of the walls in the room between bathroom and bed room needs to be cleaned not nice finger marks on wall!.
