How to reach the Grand Hotel Amrâth?1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).
2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can walk to the hotel as it is only 500 meters from Amsterdam central station.

They over booked the rooms so we didnt get the suit we booked, there service in the restaurant was poor, 2 and a half hours to have 2 courses and no wine list in english. we booked a treatment and massage which we were then told that nobody is in the hotel for 2 days to do it. we were then booked in for early in the morning which were got up for and nobody showed up which wasted another morning. there were other minor things aswell that arnt worth listingAnonymous

The staff were most helpful and very welcoming.
rooms were very well cleaned.

Lovely bed, good in room services,Basement room is different-not sure about this but someone has to stay there:). poor lighting-economically friendly but dark. coffee maker broken and not fixed despite calls. Anonymous

The grand amrath is a fantastic hotel, both me and my husband throughly enjoyed every minute. staff were very outgoing and professional, hotel was in a great location and hotel very clean and room was fantastic. would definately recommend this hotel to anybody and looking forward to staying there again in future.The only thing i can complain about was the price of the breaskfast as it was 25 euro's each, so didnt eat at hotel.Anonymous
