 "Yet another fantastic stay"
We have stayed in this hotel on many occasions now and the hotel never dissapoints. I will say that the food though is not great, I recommend you eat out. The food is very bland which is a shame as the food on offer sounds and looks great. Overall 5 star for the hotel and its facilities, but only a 3 star for their restaurant food.We will definitely be staying a again though.

 "Wife's 40th Birthday celebration"
What an excellent hotel!!! We stayed in a suite and it was absolution great!Mini bar also a huge hit as it is free and are re-stocked each morning...... Service in the hotel great and we used the concierge service a few times to find out about restaurants and attractions. You could not find a better location as it is in walking distance from all main attraction areas.I am really a fussy traveller if it comes to hotels but I honestly can recommend this hotel to anyone.

 "Mixed feelings"
Close to Central Station. Beautiful Building, both inside and out, very impressive.Check in was slow, having to queue in a reception area before entering a separate room to be dealt with.We booked a Junior Suite, which was really a slightly larger room, but it was nice and airy with a lovely view. Nice to have free mini bar and coffee facilities but considering the price paid without breakfast, it's the least one could expect. Nice bathroom, but strangely, no towel rails.One major problem regarding our room....the air conditioning. It was the noisiest we have ever experienced, and because of this we would have serious doubts about returning to this hotel.

I stayed at the Amrath for my husbands 50th birthday. The staff made our stay very special. We received a free upgrade, their was a cake waiting in the room for my husband. We ate in the restaurant and it was amazing.The spa facilities were great.The hotel was in a good location.I would not hesitate to stay again.

Hotel Amrath is a top hotel, it has an old feeling to it but at the same time is very contempary. Rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are home from home and im fussy about hotel bathrooms! Cons: Very disappointed with this hotel, especially for the price. our room was small, and wasn't cleaned well. the shower flooded the bathroom floor every time we had a shower. the staff weren't overly friendly. the hotel had a really dated, grubby feel to it. certainly not deserving of its 5* rating, nor worth the £200 a night i paid.
