From Monday until Thursday it's possible for you, as our guest of Grand Hotel Amstelveen, to sport and relax at 'All Sports Sport Centre'. Please arrange your free ticket at the reception desk of the hotel. The hotel shuttle will take you to 'All Sports' and return you to the hotel, until 22.15 hours. You can relax in the sauna, swimming pool or do some sporting activities in the cardio and fitness room. You can also use the solarium and squash courts for an extra payment.

Location is terrible. they claim to be within minutes of the airport. it is more than 30 minutes by bus to schipol. plan to eat there because there is nothing else close available. it is across from a sheep farm and the smell outside is terrible. do not rely on public transportation on weekends because there is only one bus that takes you to the airport and it runs every 30 min.

There was no restaurant and no information was given about getting food in the evening until everywhere was shut. all takeaway services that they could try and find out were old information and were closed anyway. hence we had to get a taxi out to a restaurant quite some distance away to eat and then another expensive taxi back.
also, it was 47 euros in a taxi from the airport to the hotel in the first place. so all in all, not a correct representation on the website as 'close to schipol'.

Yeah you gave me the wrong number for the hotel i had to ask the police to find it for me even they had trouble finding it it took me over 2 hours to find ....oh and the room was a twin room and i asked for a double

Breakfast buffet was great, lots to choose from and good food. the housekeeping staff were very friendly and flexible and did a wonderful job of keeping our room clean.
The hotel was very hard without exact directions from the metro station. we got told two completely different routes by tourist information. it would be helpful if the hotel/easybook website attached directions.
