Hotel was fine. Really do wish we hadn't used Easytobook.com as they f-ed up our reservations. Ending up with an extra room which we needed to pay a no-show fee for. The flexibility on the part of the hotel in the process was limited to be perfectly honest.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. The price was reasonable and the room was clean. The staff was very helpful and spoke english.

good location near rembrant square lots of bars coffee shops etc just a short walk away. tram stop also in rembrant square no 14 or 9 takes you to central station. or its a 30min steady stroll past dam square and floating flower market taxi cost was 12 euro which we thought was excessive.beware that you buy the correct ticket should you get the train from the airport to amsterdam central as we sat in 1st class with a 2nd class ticket and were lucky not to get fined 38 euro. also take plenty of cash as its not a cheap place.

Pros: Comfortable hotel fronting canal in a fairly quiet area, within walking distance of main museums, slightly further out from city centre. selection of restaurants within a short walk. comfortable room; reasonable breakfast.

Pros: The location staff and cleanliness of the hotel was excelent and the hotel is within walking distance of all the main attractions so a good all rounder, we would definately use it again if in amsterdam.

Pros: Friendly & welcoming owner & staff; 24 hour manned reception; conveniently located to tram (3 min walk)& metro (8 min walk).

Pros: The hampshire is a lovely friendly place and our room overlooked the prinsemgracht canal. it is very easy to find and about a 20 minute walk to dam square. the trams run frequently and are only a 2 minute walk away. the beds are extremely comfortable and although the rooms are very small they are furnished adequately. the cleanliness of this hotel is exemplary.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. we decided not to have the breakfast because of the reviews on the internet saying it was not worth the money, so consequently nothing negative to report.
