Location is good, rooms are bit small and should have one more bathroom or at downstairs, breakfast is good and healthy which is a plus point, not far from cenral staion or tram stops. Value for money, beds are ok sizde

Pros: 4 day city break to amsterdam, hotel very central and fitted all our needs. would definitely go back.

Pros: The location is excellent. what yo get for the price is better than any other hostel i ahve stayed in.

Cons: There are many things that i'd like to say!
first of all, the female staff of heart of amsterdam has the worst attitude among all the staff i had ever seen !
second, there are too many bugs such as flea in there !!!
i had gotten almost 40 times of bite that make me hav to see a doctor after i return to my country.
to be honest, i won't recommend this hotel to anyone of my friends. i will never choose this kind of poor, cheap hotel anymore.
in the end, i feel sorry for this poor hotel.
there is almost no advantage of this hotel, maybe except the location only.

Pros: The hotel was in a very central location, with movie themed rooms (an interesting touch).
Cons: On arrival, the card machine was not working so we had to withdraw cash (from credit cards) every day to pay the bill. this meant we incurred further charges and, while the staff attempted to be accommodating, they were not prepared to offer a discount. breakfast was basic and served in reception but was acceptable.
our "clockwork orange" themed room was far too dark and gloomy, there were items left in the lockers from previous guests and the bathroom facilities were not great (one toilet and often cold shower for 8 people).
