"practical but dirty"

very close to the tram stop , nice staff, room with dirty old paint, bathroom's cleaning not finished, lamp bulb missing, lock not functioning. the elevator had a very very bad smell. the bar and breakfast room were comfortable.

"stay at the west side inn"

To avoid if possible. The water was boiling hot the first night and the room cas pretty cold. The second the place was very noisy. I think it is a bit expensive for what you get and you have to pay for the car park.

"West side inn OK!"

My room (207) was very good, I really enjoyed it because It was peaceful, clean and seemed new. The only negative thing was the location of the hotel, the distance from the tram-station and the Metro - I am almost 80 years old and my feet hurt.

"Kidding me???"

Disgusting,Full of bedbugs and fungus.The rooms smell unbelievable...When we arrive,we have to pay the Hotel again!!!Cancel your reservation!!!Easy to Book Hotline was Not available!!!But Amsterdam was nice!

"Three day trip"

I found the hotel suited my requirements. It was easy to reach with tram no 2 from Central Station and then a short walk to hotel.The open gardens at the front of hotel would be pleasant in summer.along with the small ponds and nature habitats.The room was well provided including a great 40inch HD digital tv, great to keep up with the news. along with desk and chair including air conitioning heating.Price was reasonable. The only negative comment was, I was greeted with a very unfriendly and unhelpful person at the reception on my arrival

"hem hotel"

lovely hotel with spacious rooms and nice en suite. abit far out but realy handy for the air port, about 35 euro by taxi. 4min walk to the trams into the center/train station. about 3.50 euro. realy good value for money. however, dont leave anything behind, i left my phone under my pillow, called as soon as i got home , but , no one has seen it. this dampened an otherwise brilliant holiday.

"Brilliant! Couldn't Have Asked For Better"

This hotel is brilliant! Me and my friends couldnt have asked for better. The staff were kind and helped us with whatever we needed. The restaurant had lovely food - ate at it every night before we went into town.Had a cleaner come to our room every morning and had fresh towels everyday.We had one very very small problem and that was its 20 minutes away from central station but there is a tram stop 2 minutes around the corner from the hotel and there is a tram that runs every 15 minutes.

"1 to 4 of march"

We have littles mouses running all the night. We turned on the light and we saw them on the table, in the basket and behind our bed. We asked to change room, but one of the front desk boy forgot our claim. Even that, the girl (veryvery kind) had saw our problem and gave us an other room for the last day.

"Value for money but poor location and not very clean!"

Hi i stayed in this hotel with a friend on a weekend trip to Amsterdam. The hotel is about a 30 minute tram ride from Amsterdam Central and then isnt sign posted. We had to walk down a long derelict road and we then stumbled upon the hotel. The area is quite rough and we were approached by a homeless man near our hotel asking for money and being quite threatening. The hotel itself is ok, but not equal to a 'travelodge' or Premier Inn' standard we have in the UK. There was stains all over the carpet, the phone didnt work (it wasnt even plugged into anything) there was a sanitary towel wrapper in the bathroom when we got there and there was one lumpy pillow. We were only here for two nights but i wouldnt have wanted to stay any longer

"Ideal hotel for short break"

Was a little worried about this hotel after reading previous reviews, but pleasantly surprised by what we got. Large, clean, warm room with all you need. 5 min walk to tram. Staff friendly and helpful.

"Dirty hotel"

Very dirty room, and bathtub was with layers of dirt in it, our baby had bites all over after this stay. Found 2 hairs in our food. Pictures are a lie and far from the truth of the hotel. Will never stay in this hotel again.

"Sucks"

It's a very dirty place. It supposed to drink from dirty glasses. We have slept with rats in our room.They don't have any heat source. It's in the middle of nowhere.Employees are very "cold".DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL NOT EVEN IN EXTREME CASES!!!!!!!

"Good hotel, location not so good"

I stayed here with three other friends and when we arrived in amsterdam it was snowing, the hotel for some reason is well out of town in a residential area tucked away, so it was stressful to find it, but once you got used to the trams it was okay.

"mice"

Rooms are not so bad but the main problem are mice. I saw two mice in my room and one mouse in the corridor. I think that is completely unacceptable. Location is not fantastic but the price is very attractive.

Nice hotel but the location is not so good, dsngerous at night time when walking back from the tram station, very dark n a few strangers wondering around. The room was nice n everything was clean n tidy.

"Brilliant"

The location was amazing just one tram away from the city centre. Next to the hotel there aresuper markets! Would definatrly go there again! Nice pizza place downstairs at the reception its great as its 24 hours

"Hem amsterdam"

Great hotel, fantastic value for money. Didn't eat there but bar staff were very friendly and reasonably priced. Room was clean and presentable. Wifi seems to be turned off vary late at night but can get signal away from main building.

"good hotel"

I stayed in this Hotel for three nights. First I was shocked by the environment of the Hotel but the Hotel itself was clean and had a friendly atmosphere. The breakfast was great and the bar is quiet cosy. The only thing I did Not like was the fact that my room had no outside view. However, the rooms were clean, the bath was very modern and clean as well.All in all, it's a comfortable Hotel.
