 "The best weekend ever!!"
Fabulous hotel much better than expected from the reviews we read, some said the hotel was dated and not to Hilton standards, however we did not see any of this, the hotel was modern, clean & spacious. The location was quite far out however the walk to get to the centre was lovely with several places to stop along the way, once you get the route right. The breakfast in the hotel was amazing and made even better because we got included free with Hilton Honours. The only fault with the hotel was there was no plug beside the mirror for hair straightening but everything else was perfect. Great weekend.

 "Excellent oasis of calm"
This is an excellent hotel. We stayed as a family with two Executive rooms. Lovely location with great grounds next to a canal. An oasis of calm, close to the museums and Vondelpark but out of the hustle of the city centre but easy access with a short tram ride. The breakfast was excellent with an all you can eat buffet. The head breakfast chef also provided the children with boxes to take food from the breakfast buffet for lunch (rolls, pastries, sandwiches, fruit etc). Made to fell very welcome and would certainly return if in Amsterdam again

 "Weeekend in Amsterdam"
Very comfortable hotel with John Lennon and Yoko Ono link - which is fun and why we chose it (even though I am not a Beatles fan). Not to far from city centre, staff very freindly, bed was very comfortable, breakfast great (love the pancake guy who comes to your table), room was very clean, good (if expensive parking). Special seafood club sandwich was great (but very expensive). Only low note was 7 Euros for a bottle of water in the room. Given the cost of the room and parking I thought you could have given us the water - even cheap B and B's in the UK can afford to be that generous! Amsterdam is a great city - we loved it!

 "weekend Break"
We really enjoyed our stay at this Hotel. The Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We got very lovely breakfast on both mornings and had more food in the bar during the day. We being Irish and liking our tea, felt this was a little expensive. We both enjoyed travelling to the hotel on the TRAM, and feel we got to see more of Amsterdam (shopping area) by doing this (had got a 48 hr pass for €12 which is excellent value).

 "An excellent hotel; especially if you have a vehicle"
I stayed at the Hilton Amsterdam for a single night in one of their deluxe rooms. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the reception staff are very efficient and welcoming. The rooms are finished to a high standard and the beds are extremely comfortable!In the morning I had a wonderful breakfast complete with crepes made at my table and again very attentive waiting staff. My only slight negative for this hotel was the distance from the center, although this is a simple tram ride from the center. Bear this in mind if you are planning on returning to the hotel very late when the trams are no longer running.I would certainly stay here again and I am a member of the Hilton honors scheme.

Overall we had a great stay. The best breakfast and service with a smile - very helpful staff. We would definitely stay again - the ultimate accolade! However we would also comment on the following:-Coffee shop good value but for some reason closed at weekends leaving the bar area the only very expensive option to have coffee or overpriced drinks. Restaurant menu has very little for carnivores and people who don't like fish. We would have used the restaurant otherwise.Pointless having a mini bar at the prices so the hotel sold absolutely nothing apart form the stay and cups of coffee - a little less expensive and you would sell a lot more!.
