Great hotel in an attractive quiet street that was just a few minutes walk from the beautiful Vondelpark, lively Leidseplein and just around the corner from the Museumplein. The breakfasts were good and the service was friendly and efficient. Room size was appropriate and there was the bonus of a small balcony in our case. We'd definitely like to stay again!

We stayed in the Aalders for a recent weekend visit to the city. the booking was made last minute on a special deal. We were very pleased with the hotel, great location and the service was fantastic, the front desk staff were amazingly helpful with information on the city, looking after our bags on checkout day, serving us after hours from the bar. An all you can eat breakfast was included, they would also do you a packed lunch for no extra charge. Downsides are that this is not a trendy modern hotel, the decor is a little out of date and our room was a little cramped. The cleaners forgot to remove empty bottles and glasses hence the lesser score for cleanliness. All in all a very old school family hotel that many people will enjoy.

I dont like anything about hotel It was very bad experince for me, when we reach ther hotel room was stinking a lot and rooms were too bad from door to window .Does not have a fridge and kettle tea bath towels a bad condition and very small bathroom more than imagine the elevator is small and narrow corridors of the hotel is very short, means the hotel Bad and the price is high not crushed I would not recommend anyone.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly and clean. Lovely breakfasts. Quiet hotel although our room was below the breakfast area so a bit noisy first thing. Recommended. Perfect for park and galleries and very easy to find.

Pros: The hotel is situated in a very quiet and nice part of the city and it was very easy to find. the staff are very friendly and helpful. the room was very clean although small.

Pros: The staff were most helpfull and responsive to any service needs. we had room with a nice view, alsways very clean.location was super as it was a very short walk to the museums, many restaurents and several price levels of shopping.breakfast very good with lots of choices. we highly recommend the aalders hotel and would stay there again when visiting amsterdam again in the near future.

Pros: This is a great little hotel in a great location. nice, clean rooms, great service, friendly staff, and a really good cold breakfast. it's in one of the nicest, most exclusive areas in amsterdam, a minute's walk from the rijksmuseum, van gogh museum, and the museumplein. an easy walk to the leidseplein and rembrandtplein.

Pros: The location is excellent, just about one block to van gogh museum and to he other sido one block from this chic street full of trendy stores and restaurants. the breakfast only had the basics, but it was good and room is cozy. the staff was very friendly, i could chec in earlier, and since my room was in first floor i had a special door to acces the small garden behind, pretty!

Pros: Hotel was in a lovely quiet location yet very central to places of interest/attractions. our room was a good size and very clean. (staff made up our bed and cleaned bathroom daily). breakfast was excellent, could eat as much as you wanted. staff were very friendly and helpful. couldn't have asked for better. would definately recommend hotel aalders to anyone and hopefully will be back again some time.
