I didn't stay in the hotel but in the apartment in akoleien street advertised on your site. it was first class. i did use the hotel's help with two problems and found them very helpful. Arcand

The staff was extremely helpful. it was a pleasure to work with them. the location was very central. the room we had was large for three people. lots of towels and verz clean bed linens. i will be happy to saty there againAnonymous

Great locationWhen we first arrived, it took more than 30 mins to get us check in due to the error of computer system which charge us 4 nights instead of 3 nights in advance payment. the hotel staff is apologetic. after this, i was shocked to see the staircase and certainly worried about how my parent can get into the room with the steep narrow staircase. this is against the building regulation and the hotel should have warned us about the staircase and should issue warning to the elderly user. we almost need to carry my parent as it is not save at all. there are 3 single beds with 1 bed the sofa converter. the spring on the sofa bed is faulty and my husband has suffered from back aching resulted from 3 nights on the crappy sofa bed. also, my bed room is direct facing the back of a pub and it is very noisy with the staff throwing the bottles. we were also awaked by the plumbing noise with every single flush of the upper floor users flush!!!.
this will be our last time staying in this hotel!!!THORSON

The entry and reception looks very stylish. the stuff is very kind. in the room was enough space. The room was very cold the first night. the second we asked to maked it warmer, then it was okay. it was very noisy in the morning outside our room (behind the windows, they were removing glass what made such a noise.Anonymous

In the middle of a´dam. no "be back before this and this time". very nice and helpful receptionist. very fresh bathroomThe tv broke down. a wi-fi that worked from within the rooms would be nice. noise from a glass recyclingcontainer from outside. a teasing minibar which you had to call the reception to get something from. remove it or open it to the guests.Anonymous

The people were great -- very friendly and helpful. the location is really convenient. overall, a strong recommendation for those who don't require fancy accomodation. The lack of breakfast is a pity. the stairs are definitely not for the faint-hearted! i would not recommend this hotel for mature travellers because of this only. i also found out that the rate via the hotel's own web site was cheaper than the rate through easytobook - disappointing (a friend had booked through the amstelzicht site).Anonymous

Had a four bed apartment, was in a fantastic location right next to the river and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. had no problems with anything, in the room there was a fridge and ammenities to make hot drinks. had a shower room and 2 separate bedrooms, appartment was quite spacious.Anonymous

Staff very helpful and situation of hotel by the canal and near to everything just great.Found the stairs a bit steep but got used to them!
