Pros: The owner of the apartments was very friendly and helpful, he gave us tips on the best thai in town (cook kai!) and was very helpful with showing us a map around town and answering questions. the apartment was clean and well furnished, with excellent facilities. we only had short walks to hire bicycles etc.

Pros: Reasonable size room and bathroom.
Cons: I'm reasonably fit but we were on the 3rd floor and the steps were many and narrow . not suitable to anyone less than fit. about 50 steps.

Cons: Blood stained bedding, dirty carpets, coffee spattered walls, room listed as double when it was a twin.

Pros: It's in the heart of the city - very steep stairs (which we loved) - whole building was really tilting to the side (which we also liked) - an "old amsterdam experience :)

Pros: Отличное расположение. 10 имнут пешком т Центрального вокзала. 10 минут пешком от площади дам. Рядом с отелем есть магазины. кафе, рестраны, кофешопы.
Номер на самом первом этаже очень большой и комфортный. Есть чайник. Чай, кофе приносят каждый день.
Отличный персонал, отвечающий на любые вопросы.
Есть компьютер с доступом в Интернет - бесплатно.
Cons: НЕ меняли полотенца ни разу за неделю!!!!

Pros: The check-in was super easy and fast - receptioned very efficient. she was also very informative and answered all of our questions. the location is great for walking anywhere through the city. the canal view was great and the room size was huge for europe. also the bathroom was big and clean.
Cons: The carpet was kind of dirty in the room. there was only a sheet over the bed and a comforter, no middle sheet which would have been nice. the windows did not really close so it was extremely noisy as there are bars right beside the hotel - bring earplugs.

Pros: Execellent location. reception staff very helpful. apartment was spacious and had lovely views.
Cons: The double room at the back of building was very musty smelling and had worn and dirty carpet, the bathroom also smell of sewer. the smell is really unpleasant and we had to open the window whenever we are in the room. we also had 2 of the apartments which had lovely views and is spacious but as it was very noisey until the cafe/bar shuts at 2.30pm. we also had a mouse in one of the apartment. oh yes, the stairs are very steep.

Pros: It was a great location in terms of it overlooking the amstel and was within walking distance of lots of restaurants.
Cons: Not sure the directions to the hotel were all that helpful. once at the metro station (waterlooplein) we had to be helped by two separate people because there was no map at the station itself and the walk from the station to the hotel is a deal longer than the stated 3 minutes. the worst aspect of the entire experience was the fact that we found to our dismay that the apartment we were in was directly above a gay night club (the hot spot) which is ludcicrously loud from 9.00 pm - 3.00 pm thurs - fri nights and until 4.00 am on sunday night. we have two children. i think this should have been made clear during the booking. i personally did not sleep for three nights!

Pros: The location was superb, staff were also very friendly and even allowed for me to use their printer to print off my flight boarding pass with no additional costs. the cleanliness of the room was of very high standard, we was asked for room service quite a lot and if we needed anything. the stairs were abit steep to take heavy luggage up and down however overall i give this venue a 8/10
Cons: The check in time was too late as our flight arrived at 9am, had trouble unlocking the door as the lock and key system turned an unusual way but once figured out, no problems!
