The hotel is situated on the Damrak, the street which links the central railway station to the world famous Dam Square, with the Royal Palace; the heart of the exciting Amsterdam.

Right opposite the hotel there is public transport (city tram) to all parts of the city (like RAI Congres Centre!) and there is also a frequent KLM coach service from and to Schiphol Airport. Public paid parking is available 24 hours a day.

1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't have to take the tram as you can walk to the hotel in approximately 5 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Location was fantastic and rooms were lovely
Staff told us that booking was not made when we arrived and gave us a temporary room and did not resolve until teh saturday and then advised that there was no problem

Great location
Room had a glass door to a very small toilet and bathroom! right next to the bed in the room - changed room and got a separate toilet (which was tiny for a 5ft 5 person!, but still a see through glass door to the bathroom and basin - dissapointed

The location was perfect in the heart of the city! the service was great.
We stayed at the back of the hotel and there was some noise associated with the activities in dam square.

The staff is very nice and helpfull
The room is very very small, it feels like they are trying to "ripp you off" by charging extra for everything, especialy the internet and staff which seems complimentry of the house but indeed they are for charge.
