Very pleasant staff. hotel was warm!
The noise from the nightclub outside in the square was dreadful during the night - we could not get a good night's sleep.

Great location, especially if you like clubs, etc. friendly staff. my room was lovely and quiet.
Seems some rooms were not quiet (perhaps on the front?), but didn't bother me. odd arrangement on 2nd floor where you have to contort yourself to exit corridor's door without falling down stairs.

Great location, tram very near, exellent places for food and drinks all around.
No update about the square being renovated, so the tram we picked from the station had re-routed!

It was right on the edge of the main hub of amsterdam so it was in a great location. lots of cafes and restaurants right at your doorstep. would stay there again.
There were a lot of steep stairs to get to reception, then to the next three levels of rooms, however i would expect the same anywhere in amsterdam for around that cost. my bed was broken when we got there and they kindly changed our room without hesitation.

When we stayed there our mini bar contained 2 empty bottles of water which had been drank by the previous room owners, and we were charged for despite the hotel insisting that the mini bar is checked and refilled after every stay. other than that, it was ok.

I stayed in hotel atlanta for a long weekend how found it to be a great place to stay. it's in the middle of everything. hair dryer and kettle in your room. all the people are really friendly. easy to get around. would love to stay again.
The only bad thing about hotel alanta is the stairs, but then again the whole of amsterdam is like that.

The room we were given on our last night in amsterdam was beautiful and very affordable. it looked right out onto the square and had a jacuzzi bath tub.
Our rooms were given away and not available when we attempted to check in. they said they tried to contact us...but we were already traveling in europe from the us. we had to find other rooms for our party of 4. then they said they had a cancellation policy and we would be charged. the whole situation was infuriating.
