 "Nice location, not worth the price!"
The location of the hotel is nice, not extremely close to the center. It's within walking distance from the center of town, but very close to the park and Van Gogh museums. The hotel staff is mixed, we had so very friendly receptionists while others were extremely cold. The main light in the room didn't work, but the room was kept very clean by the hotel staff.

 "Only if its a last resort"
This hotel is very run down and over priced for what it really is. The bed was 2 singles put together and kept splitting apart; our room was very noisy; rubbish was left in there from previous guests. I would never recommend this hotel.

 "Not the best option"
The location is not to bad, close to a commercial area but the rooms were very small, not very nite and a bit expensive. There was a lot of noise at night, we do complain at the front desk and they were kind

 "Hotel Blyss Amsterdam"
Very clean hotel. Clean towels every day. Easy to get around from hotel. Plenty of maps and information available. One drawback one wardrobe but no drawer space. Lift to 2nd floor. Elderly friends had difficulty walking up to 3rd floor with luggage. Hotel very accommodating and moved them to a room lower down (and carried their luggage). Would recommend

 "Overall a good experience."
We found the hotel convenient and comfortable. We did not buy the breakfast, but chose to walk a short distance to eat. Parking is expensive if you park near the hotel in public parking, but there was a cheaper option further away that I would have chosen if we were staying for a longer period of time. Staff was helpful, our room was a good size with comfortable beds and in room bathroom/shower/tub. For our family of four it was a reasonable choice especially since I booked last minute.

 "High ceilings and big windows"
A lot of the cheaper accommodation in Amsterdam gets slated for being pokey and crammed in so we upgraded to Hotel Blyss and weren't disappointed.The room was clean, decorated in a modern fashion and thanks to the high ceiling and big sash windows a lovely airy feel. Wasn't too keen on the two singles pushed together to make a double but that's no big deal as the room was sold on that basis.It's slightly out of the centre but tram connections are good.

 "Great stay!"
Had a lovely few days in this hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing we thought it needed was coffee/tea facilities in the room. Also we visited a fantastic restaurant around the corner called Gollem's. Definately recommended.

 "Ridiculous receptionist/racist"
I stayed at your hotel and found the attitude of Nick the hotel receptionist to be utterly out of line and rude! Our first encounter he seemed to mention something derogatory about Pakistanis, I happen to have Pakistani relatives. He told us about his sexual exploits in your hotel rooms and showed us crude pictures. There was nothing professional about his attitude whatsoever! The rooms were ok! Our bedroom bin wasn't emptied, the towels not changed, and our loo roll not replenished. Not worth the money.

Cons: We went out and come back with our room open, nothing was missing but the hotel left our room open (how long i dont know)and someone had been decorating in there while we was staying, we come back and they had painted which was bad fumes due to health problems. they also took money out my bank without informing me and because it takes 2 weeks to go back in i was £68 down until i got back home

Cons: Our room was in the attic, it was cold and small. the tv did not work and the shower was a tricked. we complained at reception and they moved us to a nicer room the second night.

Pros: Room was very clean,facilities worked well. pleasant room all in all.
Cons: The room was very loud and we needed to buy earphones after the first night to get to sleep. noise from the road was great and the noise from the neighbouring rooms kept us up.

Ws great for what we needed as we didnt stay in the hotel for long
