I thought the hotel was nice and clean and i was impressed that the cleaners still came and did the room even if we did not get out of bed and leave the room until the afternoon. also the hotel was in a fabulous location with easy access to everything needed.The only bad point about the hotel was that it was a 3 person room we were given which i and my 2 friends found to be far too small for 3 grown adults. There was no positive aspects to report with regards to this abysmal hotel...I have been visiting amsterdam for over 8 years now and have never experienced such a stay at any hotel. our safe would not open upon return to the hotel (with our passports, money etc in)on the first night and could not be opend for 2 days (we were only there 3 days) the staff would not assist in the matter untill 24 hours after reported. communication was difficult and frustrating due to the lack of english spoken around teh hotel. they say the batt on the safe had not been changed?? also we had a room for 6 people, however only 4 attedned our trip, we did pay the full price for 6 as we were told this was essential. however we were given a room for just 4/5 people with just 4 beds an a matress. this is a disgracful hotel who are not interesting n customer care - i will not be returning to this hotel, however there are many basic hotels in this area that i would be more than happy to visit again and again.Anonymous
