 "A great place to stay!"
I stayed for 2 nights at De Koopermoolen. The staff are very welcoming and the triple room was very clean and nice. The location is brilliant as it is on the Warmoestraat, with everything nearby. The breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be staying here again. Thanks De Koopermoolen.

"in the middle of the town"
Rather simple hotel with OK rooms, OK breakfast. The best thing was the location near central station and in the middle of the town. WiFi did not work at our room in the top floor. Within walking distant of may attractions

 "A great place!"
A great place. 2 minutes from Central Station. Friendly, courteous staff. Desk manned 24 hours. Steep stairs, but there is a lift. Big breakfast. Will look after bags when checking out. I will return!

 "Goodergooden"
Great apartment, spacious, private & clean. 1st floor has bathroom, kitchen & generous lounge, 2nd floor has hallway, 2 bedrooms with 6 single beds. Friendly staff, awesome location. Reason for not 5 star, breakfast average, steep stairs. Will stay here again.

My wife and I stayed in the suit and this time the hot tub was working so we had a wonderful stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Being in the red light district is very close to everything. I will stay here every time I come to Amsterdam, Its just a pitty I hadn't found this hotel the previous 16 visits to the dam.

 "Bohemian place"
In the middle of Red Light District, just a few hundreed meteres from Amsterdam Centraal railway station - great location. It began like this: the elevator was busy "because some of the guests vomitted inthere", but the friendly receptionist took my suitcase and brought it to the room between I and II floor. Smoking was allowed, and the receptionist went down to the kitchen to get an ashtray for me. So this was one of the characteristics - very friendly receptionists 24 hours. Breakfast was very good. I can't praise enough the location. The beginning of Street Zeedijk is visible from the hotel's entrance. There are plenty of legendary bars in that street:: Int Apje (Monkey), t'Mandje, De Engel van Amstredam, Dijk 120, and - after 02.00 - a night club San Francisco, which is open to 05.00.Should I mention Red Light Street, paralel to Zeedijk? The street in whish the hotel is situated will lead you right ti the Dam Square.Room was good. After I read some reviews on the net, I was afraid I will have to start this review with a bad joke: "I was feeling like Anne Frank hiding from the nazis", but the single room was spacious enough. I had triouble in the bathroom with mixing hot and cold water. Sometimes there run hot, almost boiling water on both cold and hot taps. But the politely janitor told me that this had something to do with simoultaneous flushing or something. I could live with that - after a couple of minutes, I could take a shower anyway. So it's bohemian hotel, relaxed and cosy, with a touch of hostel-like feeling, with no strict rules. I would prefer free WiFi in the rooms (there is a PC in the loby, though), and I think it's a bit pricey, but "what a parsnip" - as old proverb says - the life is expensive in Holland.

 "Good value, good standard"
We stayed in the appartment for 6. Wasn't expecting much. Perfect location. Soap, shower gel, towels & bedding provided. The beds were all singles and comfortable except for the unbearable heat. Hey ho. Perfect as a base to head out drinking, smoking, site seeing, bang in the middle of restaurant coffee shop bar scene.

 "Let down by lighting"
The hotel is in an excellent location for the Old Quarter (Red Light District, Our Lord In The Attic, & c.) and easily walkable from Centraal Station (about four or five minutes at a slow pace). It's about half an hour's walk at the same pace from the hotel to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. Because it's on the edge of the Red Light District the streets are quite colourful in the evenings, so perhaps avoid if with small children. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room had no natural lighting and poor electric lights. It may be that this room was an exception, but it's worth checking before booking. Otherwise, it was comfortable and clean.

This hotel is in a very good location only 5 minutes walk from the train station and near shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was good, the staff are friendly and helpful and we couldn’t have asked for anymore during our 3 nights

 "Thank you De Koopermoolen hotel"
I just wanted to re-affirm here that everything has been perfect about the hotel and people who have welcolmed us during our trip. The room were a (little) bit noisy but either you are inside the city or you are able to sleep without any noise.. Good hotel to recommend except for those who are light sleepers.

 "2012 annual trip"
hotel location is excellent right in the center 5 mins walk from centraal station literally!! apartment was good however stairs are a bit difficult to climb! staff were polite and friendly breakfast was ok it was pretty much the same everyday and not much considering what we ended up paying for our apartment. however i would recomend you book your stay directly with the hotel and not through any other sites as they charge you an extra fee that is not directly shown . i found out the hard way and had to each pay an extra 60 euros which didnt help.

 "Messy Weekend"
Cannot fault the hotel on anything. Location is amazing, literally a 5 minute walk from Red Light District and fairly central to all the best cafes/coffee shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room size was decent and always came to back to a clean room. The only thing I could really critise is that the beds wasn't very comfortable and I did wake up with a stiff back but I wasn't expecting anything more. Anyone who leaves a bad review has to remember, your in the centre of Amsterdam. Overall, I would reccomend this hotel to young groups and will definetily be looking book the same hotel for next years trip.
