 "Awesome!"
Clean room, great location, Jacuzzi in our room which really added to the experience! Breakfast could be better but other than that it was great, Really friendly staff and good price, will be returning again and asking for the same room!

 "good hotel for practical people"
+ great position, near the central station and red light district+ rooms were very clean and they came in to change towels every day+ polite and helpful staff+ good and consistent breakfast- pretty much noise for the rooms with the view on the main street (it didn't bother me but might bother other people)

 "Hotel De Koopermoolen"
This hotel is in a very good location only 5 minutes walk from the train station and near shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel is clean and the breakfast was good, the staff are friendly and helpful and we couldn’t have asked for anymore during our 3 nights

"Another great stay at the Koopermoolen"
If you want to stay right in the heart of the action this is the the place to be. Private bathroom and a good clean room that doesn't cost a fortune. Reception staff always friendly and helpful. Great!

 "Good stay at the Koopermoolen"
Friendly and helpful staff. Warm and clean room with good housekeeping service to keep it that way. Location, right in the thick of it! What more could you want? All that and great breakfast too. Well Done!

 "Thank you De Koopermoolen hotel"
I just wanted to re-affirm here that everything has been perfect about the hotel and people who have welcolmed us during our trip. The room were a (little) bit noisy but either you are inside the city or you are able to sleep without any noise.. Good hotel to recommend except for those who are light sleepers.

 "2012 annual trip"
hotel location is excellent right in the center 5 mins walk from centraal station literally!! apartment was good however stairs are a bit difficult to climb! staff were polite and friendly breakfast was ok it was pretty much the same everyday and not much considering what we ended up paying for our apartment. however i would recomend you book your stay directly with the hotel and not through any other sites as they charge you an extra fee that is not directly shown . i found out the hard way and had to each pay an extra 60 euros which didnt help.

 "Messy Weekend"
Cannot fault the hotel on anything. Location is amazing, literally a 5 minute walk from Red Light District and fairly central to all the best cafes/coffee shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room size was decent and always came to back to a clean room. The only thing I could really critise is that the beds wasn't very comfortable and I did wake up with a stiff back but I wasn't expecting anything more. Anyone who leaves a bad review has to remember, your in the centre of Amsterdam. Overall, I would reccomend this hotel to young groups and will definetily be looking book the same hotel for next years trip.

 "Great location"
Positives - location, friendly staff, good breakfast.Negatives - the central heating system made an awful noise during the night. The price quoted by Easytobook in sterling was misleading and nowhere near accurate once they converted it to Euros. What I originally thought was reasonable for a basic 2* hotel ended up being rather expensive. Also I later discovered it would have been cheaper to book with the hotel direct.

 "Overall good"
Location great and the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The room was a testament to the skills of the designer in packing so much in such a tight space whcih lead to a few compromises. Room a bit tatty but clean. Breakfast plentiful but basic. £100 a night seemed a bit steep but it was the busiest weekend in AMS ever so I was lucky to have a bed at all.

 "A superior budget hotel"
A very useful hotel for a few nights, handily located just 5 or 6 minutes walk from Centraal Station. It is on a lively street on the edge of the red light district -- decide for yourself whether that is for you. I am a young-at-heart 'older person' and it didn't worry me -- but I did have a very quiet room on the fourth floor at the back of the hotel. Other rooms may be noisier. The Reception staff are friendly, helpful, efficient and good-humoured. The breakfast room is spacious, light, clean and airy, despite being in the basement. The breakfast is typically Dutch and plentiful: choice of fruit juices, cold meats and cheese, with tomatoes and cucumber, plus warm hard-boiled eggs, fruit salad and cereals, and fresh fruit. My room was small but big enough for a short stay, with a view over red rooftops and the Oudke Kerke in the distance. The shower room was impeccably clean, but lacked a bathmat (however Reception readily provided me with an extra towel to use as a bathmat). The lift is miniscule (2 persons) but behaved itself while I was there (I suspect the malfunctions noted in other posts are caused by people overloading it with luggage).Overall I was very pleased with my stay - my first time at this hotel - and I rate it highly in the budget range, based on my quiet room (2144). I have only given 4 marks for cleanliness, only because the carpets are shabby and show marks and stains (the wrong sort of carpet!). Some investment by the owners in new carpeting would transform the negative image. One final point on the RLD: yes, it is there, just down the street and round the corner -- but if you don't choose to go round the corner, you will never be aware of it.

 "location location location"
this hotel was a good place to stay iv been to amsterdam 8 times and iv stayed in far worse places. the location is superb for what we wanted which was coffee shops , bars and the red light district , we where right in the mix of it all after you step out of the hotel and walk for two mins . we also had a smoker friendly room so we could get wasted without having to leave the room .

 "Same room 2 different nights"
Perfect for a stop over for Amsterdam Centraal Station. A basic little room but fine for one for one night, clean with fantastically hot water in the shower - though I missed being able to MAKE a hot drink, but there are loads of places to get food. Friendly and very helpful staff at reception.

 "Great service and location!!!"
Affordable price, easy to book (as debit card also acceptable), very near to centraal station, excursion companies such as excursion bus and boat, very near to tram station and metro, easy to get cab from there. The place also very near to numerous of attraction such as Dam, Madame Tussaud, Royal Palace, Cathederal, Red Light Distric etc so in term of getting meals, drinks, entertainment, shopping, places of attraction etc. The staff has given the best services by allowing me to keep my luggage at their luggage room as I reached there before the check-in time, so I still have enough time to see the tulips at Keukenhof. The hotelier also provide the excursion booking so I am not afraid to losing seat to my fav places such as Belgium and Rotterdam. They also had helped me out by calling up the shuttle to the airport!! My kids, my husband and me really enjoy staying over that and Amsterdam as well!!!
