Hotel De Korenear is a typical Dutch 2-star hotel, centrally located on Damrak, Amsterdam's main avenue, close to many attractions. Walking straight across the street there are many touring boats so you can go on a tour on the famous canals. Within walking distance you will find Dam Square, the flower market and the famous Rembrandtplein with all its pubs and clubs.

The hotel is located in the middle of the city centre, only 300 meters from the main railway station and close to Dam Square. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, bars and all kind of shops. Across the street you will find many canal boats waiting to give you a nice tour around the city centre.
How to reach the Hotel de Korenaer?2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't have take the tram, you can walk to the hotel in approximately 5 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM. Exit the central station from its main entrance and with the station building behind you, keep to the right. Cross the bridge, then cross the road at the traffic lights and you will find yourself in the pedestrian section of De Korenaer, Amsterdam's main street, lined with cafés and just a few steps away from your comfortable bed at Hotel De Korenaer.

Great location - attractions are pretty much within walking distance of the whole of the city.
Breakfast was not served on the sunday morning that we left and this was supposed to be included in our package!zebelys

The hotel is very centrally located. it is close to the centraal station. the check in staff, upon arrival, was helpful and friendly. the rooms are spotlessly cleaned everyday. i would stay here again. The recption staff changed nearly every morning making it difficult to establish a relationship for longer term guests. the breakfast served sliced bread of two kinds, but still an inexpensive bread product for a country with so many good pastries and breads. one morning, the buffet was served in the sister hotel next door which was somewhat inconvenient without prior notice. the bed linens, espcially the pillows, could use a major upgrade. the towels, while serviceable, need to be retired! Hotel staff nice. rooms are what you expect for amsterdam! location was great!Th only thing they didnt tells us was that there was a massive advertising board overing the whole front of the hotel so if you had a front facing room you couldn't see anything! if your there for a few nites then this is will be just what your looking for!Peak
