 "Great value hotel"
A lovely, small hotel with friendly staff. Located about 20 minutes from Central Station, 10 from Dam Square. Decent breakfast and nice spacious rooms. Will certainly stay there again when ever visiting Amsterdam again. Highly recommended.

Cons: Where booked in a treble room although it could have slept 4 . we only required a double and feel we paid extra for a treble that was not required .

Pros: This was a fantastic cheap deal within a great location. the room was a good size for three adults and was very clean. the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. the location meant that everything was in easy access but in a quiet side street so that you could sleep off the night before! we would defnitely stay here again.
Cons: The stairs in the hotel are very steep and narrow so do take care on your way up and down!

Pros: We were very happy with this hotel. it's in a good area, the room although basic was large and very clean with a great bathroom. the dinning room was nice and we had a good breakfast. would definately stay there again.

Pros: The room was clean with confortable beds with a nice view to the old canal from the window, the breakfast was more then sufficient and the stuff was very friendly and helpful. the stairs are almost vertical, but it's a part of old amsterdam.

Cons: The garden photo on the website is a bit missleading however overall it was a good experience.

Cons: We booked 2 rooms with four beds in each. when we got there, one of the beds was a fold up bed, not what we were expecting or wanting. the confirmation e-mail we received stated a price, but hotel owner tried to charge us extra for city tax. we refused to pay this, as was not on the confirmation and no mention of having to pay this on top. had to sahre a bathroom with the room across the hall. this was ok as our party were in the other room, but would have not been exceptable if we hadn't known these people

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. room and modern bathroom both very clean - and warm. interesting breakfast area - 60s music theme! plenty good hot coffee, wholemeal bread and jam. we would stay here again.
Cons: Breakfast was plentiful and varied for omnivores (meat, cheese and eggs), but not so good for vegans. more choice of vegan cereals and fruit, and some soya milk, would have been appreciated.

Cons: Steep staircase with a low ceiling which i bumped my head on a couple of times. the vending machine ripped me off when i tried to buy a snickers.
