 "not for family"
morning server was terrible, rude, not pleasant stay at all, rooms are small , never again terrible if you are travelling alone or maybe couples you may be OK but family stay was realy bad, no elevator, shortesr and narrowest stairs i have ever seen, good luck if you decide to stay this is my worst hotel experience in the europe

 "Need more informations."
The staff of this hotel is not the best one... they don't try that hard to help you out... When you book the hotel on easybook, they say at the hotel policy that you can pay it with credit cards, but when you get there they don't take any credit cards...

 "Awesome friendly basic budget hotel"
Amazingly helpful staff, a real hostel type vibe but with all nice people. They sorted the issue we had really fast and helped us with maps etc. And it isn't a long walk from the main parts of town either.

 "Hotel Hortus, Amsterdam"
Nice hotel, breakfast included was nothing special but all-you-can-eat so filled us up for the whole morning. Had no problems waiting for shared bathroom / toilet. Room had TV, which was good. We slept well, but had only sleep for 2hrs in the airport the night before, so would have slept well anywhere!

 "Average hotel in quiet surroundings"
You can reach the hotel within half an hour walk from the railway station (knowing the way and without luggage). It's located in quiet surroundings with a tram stop nearby. Our room was big enough for two but there was NO facility to hang up the towels and not enough space for our clothes. The tiny shared bathroom must be a challenge for corpulent people but we liked the coffee and the friendly man cleaning the dishes in the morning and helping the guests in every way.In my opinion it is not necessary to have a Safe and TV in every room but to make them cheaper.

 "Amazing value!"
My friend and I went on a budget two day trip to Amsterdam and were amazed at how amazing this hotel was. Have already reccommended it to my friends! The beds are literally the most comfotable beds I have slept on in my life and the free breakfast was a lot better than I am used to of just toast and cereal, there was also hard boiled eggs, ham and cheese and a toaster at each table. Facilities are kept extremely clean and shared toilets/bathroom was never an issue as they are so clean and I never had to wait in line to use them.

 "Good stay"
Lovely room, with balcony, room was ready as soon as we arrived but no towels, soap, kettle, tea or coffee in room, wasn't shown to room, got abit lost and not a very good welcome. The guy next day was friendly, would recommend as it's good location
