Hotel Inner Amsterdam locationHotel Inner Amsterdam location (Map)
The cheap hotel is located in the city centre, close to Museum Square and Leidse Square as well as the Vondelpark. The hotel is just behind the Concert Hall and located within a short walk of the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Leidseplein is a vibrant square with lots of bars, clubs and restaurants to enjoy your evenings or to enjoy a nice drink during a sunny day on one of its terraces.

The most convenient and extensive way to get around the city is by tram. Most trams run to and from Amsterdam Central Station. Tram number 2, 5 and 16 are the ones that run closest to the hotel. From the hotel, the stops adjacent to the Van Gogh museum or the Concert Hall are the best places to jump on and off the tram.
How to reach the Hotel Inner? How to reach the Hotel Inner?

1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram nr. 2 or 5 and get off at tram stop 'van Baerlestraat' (Paulus Potterstraat, Van Gogh Museum). From there you walk straight into 'Willemsparkweg' and take the first to the left and then the first to the right. The hotel is at the left-hand side, on the corner (Wanningstraat).

You can also take tram 16 and get off at tram stop 'Museumplein' (Amsterdam Concert House). You can find the hotel at the 'Wanningstraat' which is a sidestreet of the 'Van Breestraat'. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Very helpful staff. good breakfast and clean rooms.
A little too pricey. it was a hostel and a hotel together but we had a private room and bathroom. very noisey at night but your in amsterdam an the city does not die down untill about 2 or 3.

The overall atmosphere is somewhere between a hotel and a hostel; it's basic, clean, and has en suite facilities. best area is the bathroom, with an excellent shower. the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is conveniently sited near the van gogh museum and some good shops, cafes and restaurants.
The room layout is somewhat strange, with two single beds partitioned off from each other. the worst aspect was the noise caused by drunks in the corridor four or five times duing the night. staff really have to act against this.

In the perfect area for us near the galleries. room small but clean.
Not a hotel but a hostel. not worth the 2 stars it displays outside. no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms but charged for it from a machine in the bar.breakfast room spartan and had to put own crockery and cutlery into bowls on floor after eating. no service for meals. booked not to have breakfast but billed for it on arrival. clean but very basic and rooms expensive compared to a hostel.

Friendly staff, clean room.
No mirror in bedroom, no table in room (though the long narrow room shape would make putting other furniture in difficult). bathroom needed an extractor fan.

Excellent location with good priced rooms.
Once we had showered our bathroom smelt of cabbage for the rest of the weekend.

Each dorm has its own bathroom.
50 euros is such a lot of money for a bed in a shared dorm.

Location was ideal as it was close to trams and in a very clean and affluent area of amsterdam.
Not enough internet access and the two computers there were always occupied. suggest time limits or more computers. also, exiting from shower/bathroom area in quad room was dangerous as there were no floor mats provided. suggest providing this as a room facility. breakfast was severely understocked in cutlery, plates and glasses. must have a better supply of these. lack of choice for breakfast was also dissappointing.

The hostel has a very good location. it is close to the museums plein where the most important museums can be found. it is a nice area (still in the city center), out of the suspicious places of the downtown. it is absolutely suitable for people who do not want to stay among coffee shops and red light streets. the staff were kind and helpful. breakfast was available until 10 a.m. and it was excellent. even at exactly 10 there was still plenty of food.
Our room did not have a window :(, thus it could get quite warm. otherwise it was clean and okay.
