"boutique visit"
Loved this boutique hotel - in quiet street, beautiful buildings, well served by trams, buses and coach from/to airport (Red No 197 - 35 minutes = 4 euros single). In street between Van Gogh museum and street of designer shops. Coach from airport - go past Van Gogh Museum, Bols Museum, Diamond Museum and around the corner to bus stop outside the Rijksmuseum Museum - cross the main road and you are on Jan Lukendra. A modern brown room with a bright splash of wallpapered panel and very comfortable beds. Quiet hotel and nothing can beat a jacuzzi bath watching TV with a glass of chilled wine after an action packed dutch day! Visited the Keukenhof - fantastic!!!!! - the reason for our visit - flowers in full bloom and cycled 10 miles (in the morning missing the coach visitors) - most exercise for me in 6 years! And so worth it!!!!! Took 197 bus to airport then the coach to Keukenhof - return tickets/family tickets cheapest way. Bus personnel very friendly and helpful! 24hr travel tickets can be bought on trams or buses.
