Hotel La Boheme Amsterdam Location (Map)
The hotel is situated about 200 metres from the Leidse Square, the main night life area of Amsterdam. Here you will find a wide range of charming restaurants, bars, famous discos and coffee shops. Some of the most important museums, for example the Van Gogh Museum and Rijks Museum, are also within walking distance.
Being in such a central location the hotel is surrounded by the beautiful Amsterdam canals and close to the shopping district as well as ample tourist attractions such as the Holland Casino, Museum Square, Vondelpark and Dam Square.
How to reach the Hotel La Boheme?Every 20 minutes there is also a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).
2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You can take tram nr. 1, 2 or 5 from the square in front of the station to 'Prinsengracht/Leidsestraat'. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 3 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by very friendly staff, who were very helpful and efficient. the room was clean, and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. there was a problem with the shower head, which they fixed as soon as it was brought to their attention. beds were comfortable, and the room was cleaned and towels were changed daily. continental breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice. the location was three minutes walk from leidse square, but far enough away from any noise disturbance. we had a very good stay there and would certainly go back.The stairs were steep and narrow and could possibly be a problem when carrying luggage, as there was no lift. The hotel is situated in the centre of amsterdam, its in leidseplein the busiest area of amsterdam. the staff was very helpful and very friendy. breakfast is very good all the food you need in the morining is available. hotel is very clean (showers,toilets and sleeping area), our 3 person rooms where spacious. i really recommend this hotel.Farrugia

The hotel staff are so polite and freindly,i would go back to this hotel.The negative part was not about the room in such,but the price we paid as the british pound met the euro it ment we paid alot more than we should have done,i think next time ill leave the hotel till last minute.Duffy

Hotel staff were very helpfulIf you are staying in a single room with sharing bathrooms, they are in the basement. you could here people walking, chairs being dragged, just too noisy to sleep. and the small and ugly court yard outside the window is an amphitheater for all the noises coming from other rooms and apartments next to the building. had some difficult time sleeping at night. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.There is currently a construction site opposite the hotel which starts work at 7am every morning and stops at 5pm. it is very loud. the sheets had stains on them and the overall cleanliness of the room wasn't very good.H Van Loon
