The staff were exceptionally friendly. you couldn't be in a better location if you intend to explore the red light district and some coffee shops!There are lots of similar hotels in this area i think - book the cheapest you can get!Hutchinson

Nice staff and location.Booked a double bed online and got 3 singles. tried to close the curtains and the rail fell down. managed to fix it onto wall again and you could see it wasn't the first time that had happened.Anonymous

Excellent location, right in the middle of the red light district, 100m from dam square.This is never a 3star hotel!! the rooms were dirty which had obviously not been vacuumed vry well!Anonymous

This hotel is right next to all the things you would want to see in amsterdam. my partner and i will definately go back to this hotel as it was much better than some of the other hotels i'd stayed in years previous!No. all good at the luxer.Ortiz

My experience at the luxer hotel was an excellent one. from the moment that we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed and chanty/front desk offered us a tea because we had just arrived from a long flight (very attentive). hotel luxer is the heart of all fun activities; it really is about 3-5 minutes distance from amsterdam central station and tram access. it is very close to different types of attractions. i can honestly say that all the staff members that i met were very nice and helpful at all times, wonderful, wonderful, experience!! very friendly staff and they always made me laugh especially when i would have my cup of espresso at the bar in the morning. i highly recommend hotel luxer if you plan to be in the heart of amsterdam. The location of this hotel is excellent and the hotel itself is a classic 3 star amsterdam hotel. it is not a 'luxury' hotel but it is clean,relaxed and if the price is good i would recommend this hotel.Durning, Brian

Great location if you are interested in having singles kind of fun. the hotel is nice and the staff is great. if you are coming from the states don't expect american size rooms. remember this is europe. the hotel was centrally located for everything i needed. the room was clean and quiet. had a great and plan on staying there again when i go back.Anonymous

The hotel were very kind and helpful they had a smile everytime we passed in and out of the hotel. the location of the hotel was great we were in a very short distence walk from the central station and we have the attractions on our own step with great places to eat day or night, which was great not having to travel far only for the further attractions such as anne frank house etcThe room was quite warm at night, when the window was open it was too noisey and with the air con on it was slightly noisey too not good for a person who likes peace and quite when sleeping but didnt bother us greatly we just coped with the heat.Anonymous

Excellent location, friendly staff. rooms basic but stayed in much worse in amsterdam. travel once a year and will definatley stay here again.Rooms need a touch of tlc, bar very expensive (although large measures)no real gripes here though.
