Hotel Luxer Amsterdam is located right in the centre of Amsterdam's old and historical heart. It is a newly built 3-star hotel with 47 excellently furnished rooms that all have colour television, bath, shower, toilet as well as a telephone.

Hotel Luxer Amsterdam has an elevator, a cosy bar and lounge. The hotel has 24-hour security camera monitoring, in-house music and air-conditioning.

The breakfast buffet at the Luxer is served in the breakfast lounge. The hotel's staff is ready to give a warm welcome to its guests, and will make sure that you feel at home during your stay. The reception is open 24 hours a day.

The Luxer Hotel Amsterdam is located right in the centre of Amsterdam's old and historical heart. The central station, shopping area, restaurants, the Nieuwmarkt and Dam Square are just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel. Leidse Square and the museum area can be reached within 10 minutes. There is a (public) car park in the direct vicinity of the hotel, which is easy to reach by car or public transport.
How to reach the Hotel Luxer? How to reach the Hotel Luxer?
1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).

2) From Amsterdam Central Station: You don't have to take the tram as you can walk to the hotel in approximately 5 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

The shower was very good, room was spacious
The view was poor and we had to move rooms on the first night due to a persistent dripping noise which kept us awake

Excellent location yet fairly quiet which was great, had no problems sleeping. the room was a good size, not huge but plenty of space and storage for two. would definitely go back as the price was also excellent.

The location is good. just a minute to the central station, dam street, and red area district (but very safe as it's 2 streets from the area).
The garbage bins were not cleaned on daily basis.

Felt the luxer was a clean, safe & secure hotel compared to other hotels i've stayed at in this price range. friendly bar staff.
Location could be daunting for the more mature traveller as the street it's in is a touch "seedy" - virtually in the red light area.

Fantastic location for stumbling around the red light district. staff highly chilled, and certainly won't get in the way of your party.

Asked for a window in my room which i recieved but looking out on a bin storage area and room was small and stuffy for the money i paid expected a little more
I continued my trip an extra couple of days over schedule some where else for 15euros a night cheaper per person with breakfast inc. situated right near dam square the facilitys were excellent for the price hotel doria.....

It just was a decent hotel just round the corner from the grasshopper. so just outside the red light. but a very good hotel for where it is.

We stayed in the annex section of the hotel. it was an apartment, so we really didnt experience the hotel directly except to check in and check out.
