 "Hotel manofa"
Says it was 3 star but getting there showed one star. Beds were comfy but rooms are a 50/60s throw back shower flooded and room 105 is under the main stairs and very noisy will not be back
Was not a great experience

"Location and a bed is all you get... and need."
Hotel Manofa is not a particular classy or expensive hotel, you get a bed in a room, with a window and breakfast in the downstairs restaurant. And then you get the location. That is it.
It is not a very clean, visually appealing, greatly staffed or well maintained hotel. At first glance it might scare some off. And the security seemed more or less none existing. The sheets where not the typical hotel clean, our window only loosely closed and caused draft, and it is a very noise hotel with no insulation and creaking floors and stairs.

What the hotel does have is a great location right on Damrak, a short walk from Centraal Station, the shopping streets and Red Light District. Your room is cleaned everyday and if you are lucky enough you stay on the first floor where you can pick up on the free wifi in the reception. And you get a breakfast that while maybe not very unique has just enough selection.

Considering what you pay (compared to other Amsterdam hotels) you get what you need and what you pay for. Nothing more. But all things considering it does seems just slightly too pricy. Might come back... but probably not.

its cheap so dont expect a palace, but compared to others for the same price this was a bargain. Room was a little dated but extremely clean, and cleaned daily, fab location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Didnt try breakfast as slept in ha

 "Hostel and not Hotel"
The Hotel have only two things, is on the center of the town and breakfast that you can eat. On the other hand, is not Hotel but one really bad Hostel and expensive for nothing ... Really bad room and toilets.

"I was robbed after one hour of checking in!"
I checked in, took the stairs, left my baggage in the room and my camera on charging mode. I spent less than 15minutes, I left the hotel to enter in a restaurant just a steps away, after 45min I went to my room and oh surprise! the door was broken, my cosmetics all around the room and my camera was stolen with all the memories of my europe trip. This was the last night before take my fly back home. Terrible and scare.

"Dirty, noisy and really bad hotel"
there are rats inside the rooms, it is really dirty , noisy and it has unfriendly staff.
When we complained about the rats, staff said us something like "it's not my problem and I can´t do anything " . After many complaints, they sent us to another hostel -only for that night- which we had to pay ourself .
In my view, this hotel doesn´t have minimum proper conditions to accommodate people. I´ll never come back

 "Cheap and poor"
There were mice in the room. The ceiling was in a terrible state. The location of the hotel is perfect and the price more than affordable. If there weren't any mice in the room I would recommend this hotel because of the location and cheap price.

 "NO GO"
Shared bathroom wasn't a good idea.
Dirty and stinky. Shower was blocked and overflowing.
Room was tiny but quite clean. Only one electric socket was working (3 in a room) and only one light switch was working ( 2 in room )
There was a sink in a room which was making strange noises from time to time.
Positive - free wifi, free breakfast and very good location.

 "Manofa minutes away from everywhere"
Hotel very basic, bordering on grim, however, after the shock of the bleakness of the Hotel, we quickly realised what a fabulous location it is in. Near everywhere, within walking distance of Dam Square, Royal Palace, shops, bars, restaurants, Red Light District, canals, museums.

It is actually very clean, just needs some upgrading. If you are looking for a central location and won't be in the Hotel much then perfect. Basic breakfast, but you can make toasties, cereals, juice, hams, cheeses, not many budget Hotels offer this.

 "centre of town"
Not exactly the ritz but you get what you pay for, saying that my room really could have done with a lick of paint as was looking grubby. Shower needs fixed! Apart from those things this place was ok.

 "Rats"
The worth memory of hotel Manofa was rats! In the midnight we woke up and saw that the rats were running in our room on the beds! The next day when we told the reception about it, they told us that it was the problem of all old hotels in Amsterdam and they couldn't do anything, they even didn't apologize for it.

 "experience at hotel"
The rooms were generally poor standard for the price of £80 a night which we had to pay to stay on the first floor. The bed sheets were old and were not changed in the three nights we stayed at the hotel. The hotel is in a very good central location with in the city centre. Easy access when ever you walk out of the hotel and get back after a city tour or out of city tour. The hotel staff were friendly acted professionally and always helpful.

 "Great location but poor hotel"
This was a great location but hotel was prity run down. It was great as it had breakfast included. The room was very dark and small, we had a triple room was not big enough for 3 people. We constantly had problems with our swipe card to get into the room and there is a lot of steps to the room. The hotel constantly smelt of smoke and was unpleasant at times. Only had wifi in reception area not in the room.

 "Good location"
Great location, hotel was bit very good not a place u would stay in more than once. We was on the third floor and the stairs was very steep, the curtain was hanging off the rail and the tv looked like it was going to fall off the sloping shelve having said all that. The reception staff was very very helpful

"OK If you want somewhere for a stag or hen"
This hotel, if you can call it that, I would call it a hostel, is fine if you want to be slap bang in the middle of Amsterdam with some mates. It has beds and a sink, and a toilet, and a shower, just about. I would never in a million years stay here with my family, but if you want cheap and cheerful and no need for taxis and trams and trains, and just somewhere to sleep, it will do. Staff were nice enough and it was just about clean, but it is basic beyond belief

 "Manofa Hotel - Amsterdam"
Manofa Hotel is conveniently situated close to the station. Good value for money and if you are looking for the real Amsterdam experience - this is it! On the Damrak where all the action is. Lovely breakfast as well! We enjoyed our stay!

 "Never again"
Granted this hotel is easy to find and in a very central location but I can say that it has to be one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in !! There were rats in our room and when I complained it fell on deaf ears it was disgusting !!

 "Weekend in Amsterdam"
Very central! So it was noisy but that was expected! Breakfast ok - slightly minimal. Bed Linen poor - hair, stains, holesStaff friendly and helpful - one male receptionist sang all night!! The room location was not good, you hear everyone coming and going and it was next to the cleaning closet which was in use every morning. Overall it was ok, convenient more than anything!

"Too expensive for what it is"
The building is old. Room too small and not properly painted. Tiny closet, not hangers. Shower broken, toilet dirty and broken. Breakfast was ok.It is in the center but it is too expensive for what they offer.
