Hotel Manofa is located in the middle of the city centre, at the Damrak. Damrak is one of the main streets of Amsterdam and is within walking distance of most attractions, shopping areas, bars and restaurants. Kalverstraat, the main shopping street, is close by, only 2 minutes on foot and straight across the street there are many touring boats so you can go for a tour trough the famous canals. The great advantage is that this hotel is less than 5 minutes walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station with a 20-minute express link to Schiphol International Airport. Great location, friendly staff and nice breakfast. 24hr entry and relatively quiet for location.Room on 4th floor and no elevator, had to practically kick door in to get it to open, graffti in the room, pillows were non exsistent.Hughes

For 3 lads on a smoke up it was perfect, our room was perfectly sized, clean, nice big window and decent, clean toilet/shower. great location too, 3 minutes from train station and minutes from everything else (including mcdonalds) :d bed sheets were clean and beds were comfy. for the money you pay its great, way better then i had expected reading other reviews. if you dont mind the possibility of an odd mouse in the room then i'd defo recommend this hotel. Weren't allowed check in until 2pm which didnt matter too much since we were allowed leave our bags at reception. there was a mouse in the room on two occasions, but didnt bother us, they were tiny and once we came into the room it just ran back into the wall where it stayed. stains on the walls, which again didnt bother us. The location and cleanliness of the room was good and the breakfast next door was excellent.Would have preferred a room with a window not facing another the hotel window where both rooms had not privacy - we could see directly onto the bed of the hotel opposite. Anonymous

The staff was friendly and very helpful. the location is excellent-right there on the tourist strip.The down-side of the location is that it is very noisy. parties in surrounding rooms and noise out on the street went on all night. Anonymous
