Pros: The staff were very polite and helpful. they gave us a map and pinpointed all the good locations, the lady who spoke very good english was very helpful. she told us exactly were to go and the easiest way to get there. thanks

Pros: It is a beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. a great location as it is about 1km from the centre of the city but the trams are fantastic and one stops right outside the hotel.
Cons: It is slightly on the expensive side. 30 euros for a light breakfast for two.

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous hotel with great attention to detail in every way. beautifully designed, great interior. all hotel staff were always professional and courteous. restaurant was excellent. cross the bridge next to the hotel and go only one street over to fabulous buzzing market that is open 6 days per week. canal tour boat stop just across the bridge. would recommend and indeed return!

Pros: Lovely staff, very helpful, close to heineken brewery.
Cons: Not completely central but still only 15-20 mins walk from main part of city centre and plenty of other things to do nearby.

Pros: Location was fair with fairly easy access to most places of interest.
Cons: Our room was noisy, street noise from trams etc into the early hours, it sounded as though we had the windows open but on checking they were not (for 150 euros you shouldn't lie awake wishing you had brought some ear plugs). the shower tray drain was partially blocked, when on the water filled the tray and onto the floor. could not shut the shower door from inside and had to have the help from my partner to help push it shut from the outside. not what you expect for 150 euros!!

Pros: We felt as if we were in a 4 star hotel--at least potentially a 4 star hotel--it opened just a few months ago in an old but excellent government building bought from the city. it has a very sleek modern ambiance in old high ceilinged rooms. the beds were very comfortable. the adjacent (attached) restaurant was quite nice. my recommendations presume the hiccups will have been dealt with. ire ally would have chosen several of the categories if that had been an option.
Cons: There were some hiccups, but they were dealt with. when we arrived,--an older gentleman with some difficulty walking--i tried to use the outdoor lift, but it didn't work yet. a staff person promptly appeared, carried my rollator up the steps, while i clambered up the steps helped by their sturdy handrail and my cane. they checked us in graciously, providing their handicapped accessible room. the shower however, while excellent in appearance, had no provision for water not to run all over the floor. they moved us to a regular room, large enough but not quite as spacious, and the shower worked very well--no problems. we needed lessons in how to use the espresso coffee maker, and the view wasn't as nice as the canal view of the first room, but these were not serious difficulties.

Pros: Lovely brand new hotel, big comfortable bed, super friendly staff, beautifully decorated and modern design
Cons: Because it's brand new, there are a few glitches: the peep hole on the back of the hotel door to look out into the hallway is too high, the fire escape plan is propped up against the wall instead of installed on the door; also the rates are very low for the first few months, so i'm sure it'll soon be much too expensive for the quite far location from downtown. it's at least a 25 minute walk to the train station (or you can take a tram).

Pros: Very nice look and feel to the room and hotel.
Cons: The bathroom door was transparent! who does that?! nobody likes to watch others go to the toilet. i think they cocked that up big time.

Pros: Room service and hotel restaurant excellent. staff superb, nothing was a hassle for them.
Cons: The mini bar in the room wasn't connected up to the server and hence didn't work.
bathroom was nice and spacious but only had a shower when there is clearly room for a bath as well. why not put a bath in as well?
clear glass door on the bathroom is a little wierd. perhaps some frosting decals to give some privacy whilst using the toilet should be looked at. many people have made similar comments.

Pros: Lovely hotel with very comfortable bed and room. good location on canal and opposite tram stop. very clean and well presented. friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: I think because it is new there are still little issues that have not been resol;ved like the airconditioning control being along the side of the wardrobe where you can't read the display when trying to press it, mini bar not working and not all tv stations on pay per view available. all sorted in different ways by hotel staff.
