Pros: Excellant hotel with all the facilities. the restaurants a bit pricy but there are choices and the snacks in the bar are very reasonable so it does cater for all pockets.

"The staff was very helpful, we got there early so they let us check in..."

Pros: The staff was very helpful, we got there early so they let us check in early. the deluxe room was just like the pictures. it was 20 mins away from dam, but it was nice loads of shops in the area
in the evening the cleaners give your room an extra clean
worth the money spend

Cons: It doesnt tell you that you have to pay a deposit for every night you stay

Pros: It is well located, city centre very accessible by bus. the view of the room was excellent. about the room, good dimension. nice room service. the japaneese restaurant was excellent.
Cons: Room would need to be refreshed as it looks a bit soiled. we had to claim once for the room to be cleaned. breakfast very expensive.

Pros: As the "old look" hotel in a suburb, with high price giving impression this hotel is for selected personalities.
Cons: "okura" as a brand in my opinion should bring "eastern smiles and services", but it is actually doing a strict business like hotels. the price is maybe one thing, but the way services is conducted is the most important that i don't think okura amsterdam successfuly achieve the excellent services as expected.

Cons: The check in process was extremely tedious, with no one of real responsibility being present in the evening and at night to deal with accounting problems. for a hotel of this calibre, it was very poor indeed. i will remain with the sheraton and intercontinental groups from now on.
