Congratulations! You have found the nicest, all-around hotel in Amsterdam, Holland!
We are located a mere three minutes walk from the Central Station and have something to offer for everybody. Whether you want a luxury room with a dynamite view of an old Amsterdam canal or whether you want a simple room with the shower and toilet in the hall, or something in between, we have it all.
The hotel has a pleasant restaurant and a nice bar. The hotel also has an elevator and offers paid parking pick up&return services.
But most of all, we are typically Dutch "gezellig" (cosy). Our multilingual staff will make you feel at home away from home. They are ready to assist you with information about what to do during your stay in Amsterdam.

The Old Quarter Hotel is located in the old centre of Amsterdam, just a two minute walk from the Central Station. Lots of tourist attractions as well as the famous Red Light District are within walking distance of the hotel.
How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You dont have take the tram, you can walk to the hotel +/- 5 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

Verry good location ( close to red light district and dam square); very nice atmosphere in the hotel; the room (twin room) was clean, with sink and shared bathroom but very small.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. the location was excellent and the value for money was good. will definately be going there again.The breakfast wasn't all that, but it did the trick. and the fact that i was able to go to the toilet whilst taking a shower wan't all that great.G.M.E. Awesome location! a few blocks away from the train station (5min walk)with restaurants and shops all around you...steps away from the red light district. restaurant/bar downstairs, daily breakfast included.The rooms are tiny, the 2 twin beds couldn't even be placed next to each other because the space was so small. most rooms need to share a bathroom/toilet, so you could hear whenever people got up... we had a room with a bathroom, but the sink was next to the bed and the toilet was in the shower (literally). the room walls are paper thin and there is a live band that plays (late)on friday and saturday nights (jazz on monday nights)we were right above the bar, so we heard everything. i may not recommend this hotel if you're looking for a place to get a good nights rest, but if you're looking to have a good time and just need a place to crash at the end of the night, i give it 2 thumbs up :)Anonymous

Is located in the heart of the city centre, very close to all the major areas in amsterdamWe paid for a triple room, we ended up with a double room with an extra bed put in, it was a bit cramped, but we made it work. the stairs were very steep and we were on the third floor.O\'Hanlon

We stopped in room 40 , which was basic but clean, shower was good, sheets and towels clean, and the view was good over the canal. heating was ok and the room was accessed from the lift which was a godsend as the stairs are very steep in these buildings. location is spot on right in the thick of it all .Manky bedspread, no kettle, needs a lick of paint. at weekends they have bands playing so be aware if you have a lower room .Anonymous
