Hotel Princess Amsterdam    

Cons: Unclean

Pros: Receptionist helpfully phoned me to make sure i was on my way, 30 mins before check-in deadline.
Cons: Bathroom: shower plug partly blocked; extractor fan not working. breakfast: cheap bread, no choice of cereal.

Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff.
Cons: 1. there is no dry area in the shower for dressing.
2. the toilet is much too small, making it almost impossible to wipe my butt. for these two reasons, i would not stay there again, nor would i recommend it.

Pros: Rooms and bathroom were clean, breakfast was good. not sure if this is actually a hotel, as it seems there are only dorm rooms available.
Cons: Reception closes at 11pm, which also includes the common room and you can't use the computers. the guy at the reception is a bit of a douche, clearly does not like people.

Pros: Excellent location. room, showers and toilet very clean. breakfast basic but excellent for the price paid.

Pros: Dirty room mates , smells other than normal smell
Cons: My room mates smells alot shoe and clothes everywhere on the floor.no aeration at all

Pros: The staff,especially marco were very kindness,but what about the boss of the hotel i wouldnt recommend someone else to go to that hotel,he is not kind with any of the customers

Pros: Very helpful staff, location not far from centre-walking distance.
Cons: On the website it wasn't stated that the shower will be outside the room so i found it a bit disappointing.

Pros: This was a resonably priced hotel, with reasonable cleanliness, reasonable breakfast and very helpful staff.
Cons: Room was not ensuite but shower and toilet just across the corridor and at the price we paid this was reasoanble.

Pros: Fantastic, what i expected clean room for 12 lads on a stag do. staff helpful with directions to places and easy to find.

Pros: Great location. good value for money - clean and comfortable for the price. the showers are obviously quite new, clean and well presented and i was also pleased to have a double bed (as requested) which is sometimes hard to find in amsterdam!
the staff were generally helpful and friendly. one even helped me to temporarily fix my shoe (which i had broken the night before) and suggested somewhere i could go to have it properly fixed for nothing. luckily though, his quick-fix solution lasted me for the rest of the weekend - and i did a lot of walking! the staff were also very accomodating about storing our bags for a few hours between the times of our check out and our flight. they were helpful about how we could travel to the train station to catch our flight, giving us tram numbers and pointing out the relevant stop to wait at.
it was just the sort of accomodation i was looking for and everyone in my group agreed that we would definitely go back.
Cons: Only a couple of minor negatives:
at breakfast, eggs seemed to be a luxury! only a few were put out each day and, as a result, were snapped up as soon as they arrived. as i don't eat meat, this was mildly irritating. i also felt a bit of an inconvenience one day when i arrived for breakfast at 9.45am (it finishes at 10am) while i was eating, the waitress started clearing up around me and my friend, whipping away anything i didn't hold onto and wiping the table around me as i ate. but this was a one-off and generally the breakfast was good and an enjoyable experience.
the noise from the trams outside was quite loud in the mornings (especially when trying to sleep off a hangover!) but, having read some reviews before i left, i was expecting this. it was a small price to pay for being so central and we appreciated being able to easily catch a tram to the station on our departure.
perhaps i am being a little picky bringing up these points as negatives, as my friends and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay and agreed that we would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Very helpful staff, clean room, very good breakfast, a lot of good restaurants around:afrikan, iran, greak, indian...
Cons: Very little room, no place for wardrobe my suggestion to put some hooks or nails, so vi can use for towels and clothes hangers with

Pros: This hotel is ok and it is located just two tram stops from the main entertainment district of amsterdam.
